When I first started using TN a few months ago, my computer ran really slow while multitabling. I fixed the problem by disabling the sound in the pokerstars client. There are a lot of .wav files getting played in the background that are completely unnncessary and they will eat up a lot of CPU. If that helps, you can try re-enabling the attention .wav file if you need to.

one of the features i am eagerly awaiting is the stack info display of #BB, M, etc. Can you provide a status update on when you think this will be made available and how high is it on your priority list?

I wish I could give you a more clear answer, but honestly this just depends so much on how FTP proceeds with their beta client. I'm going to do my best to answer this question but please don't take anything I say here as 100% certain or some kind of promise. I'm somewhat speculating to help you make an informed decision now, but be aware we might change our minds about any of this in the future. If/when we release a FT version of TN we would probably sell it as a separate add-on, but make any free updates that people purchased apply both to the FT and the PS versions. In otherwords we would not provide the FT version for free, even if you buy lifetime updates now, but if you bought lifetime updates for PS you would also get lifetime free updates for FT.

As I said before this is just speculation to help you out


Usually for people who experience lag. the issue is just that more of your total system resources are being used so that everything runs a bit slower. TN does nothing that should actually affect the way Stars runs.

By far the most common source of lag is having something configured not quite right or using a theme thats not officially supported. This causes TableNinja to fail scraping the screen a lot and have to retry many times which can really hurt performance.

I would try first looking in your TableNinja log file and seeing if you have a lot of Pot Scraping errors. If so email me at support@alxsoftware.com and I will be happy to help you out.

I would also trying disabling frames in TableNinja and taking TheBowlBoys suggestion about sounds.

Could you give us an idea of what new features to expect in the next update?

I've been having some lag problems and the reload screen sometimes gets stuck. I emailed you some log files, the first few are from days where it was working fine then the last few i've quit trying to stack tables because it would mess up to often.

Improvements to the SnG opener, a send table out of stack hotkey, option to remove antes from the limper bets/SnG betting and some smaller features.

I got your email and will take a look at it this evening and get back to you.

i just downloaded the trial version and i cannot open it because i must run it as admin. when i right click the icon there is no option to run as admin. can you help me please?

Usually this means that you are right clicking the shortcut on your desktop and not the actual TableNinja program file in your TableNinja install directory.

Try going to your TableNinja install directory (by default its C:\Program Files\TableNinja or C:\Program Filkes (x86)\TableNinja) and right clicking on the TableNinja.exe file itself.

just installed, configurated and tested TableNinja.

first of all, it is great!

second, I have one question, concerning the waitlist functionality;

I want to set a Maximum number of tables (in the Opening/Closing tab)by checking the box and setting the number, but this last function doesnt work properly.
I cannot set the number or at least I cannot see the number.
what can I do about it? is this a problem u heard of earlier?

If I purchased TableNinja can it be installed on more than one computer? I.e. my home and office?

You can install TableNinja on 2 computers if you purchase it once. You will however need a second unlock code. When you purchase one code will be sent to you automatically. Just send me an email at support@alxsoftware.com from the email address you used to purchase and I will send you a second code whenever you need it.

Yes, u understand the question correctly, although partly. I can see the box containting Maximum Number of Tables, but I cannot see or edit the number in it.

Ah I figured it out. The problem was caused by the adjust DPI scale on my PC.
I had adjusted that to better read text (it is all suddenly very small on a 24inch screen).

That adjusted scale didnt work well for the TableNinja menu. Now with the normal DPI scale, it all works perfectly fine.

Unfortunately todays PokerStars update changed the tournament window titles again. If you make your tournament window too small TableNinja will stop recognizing the table. As long as the word "Hold'em or Omaha" is visible in the window title everything should work smoothly. Cash games are completely unaffected as far as we know. This issue should only affect people who play tournaments with long names on very small tables. We hope to have a fix for this out within 24 hours.

As a temporary solution while you're waiting for the update you can revert Stars to the previous version.

To revert PokerStars go to your stars install directory and open the "backup folder. By default this is in "C:\Program Files\Pokerstars\backup". Not everyone will have a backup directory, but if it exists you can revert to the previous version of Pokerstars until we release an update to TableNinja. Copy the files from the backup directory into the C:\Program Files\Pokerstars directory and then run the Pokerstars.exe directly from your PokerStars install directory (DO NOT USE YOUR DESKTOP SHORTCUT). This will allow you to temporarily run the old version of Stars.

We will release an update fixing the problem as soon as possible.

Sorry you are having problems.

1) On some machines assigning right-click to a hotkey that does not target a table (like the cycle tables hotkeys or the join waitlist hotkey) can cause problems. Unfortunately it sounds like on your machine you will not be able to use "right-click" for the join waitlist hotkey.

2) We plan to add slick theme support eventually but for now there is no way to use TableNinja for the slick theme.

3) We also plan to eventually completely handle waiting for the big blind automatically. In the mean time. the "Click buttons by location" hotkeys on the "Action hotkeys" tab will simple click the left, middle or right PokerStars buttons. If you assign one of these hotkeys, you can use it to click the "Wait for BB" option when it comes up.

My auto sit down randomly stopped working on 6-max tables I'm waitlisted in (and then get a reserved seat). But If I join a table that I'm not waitlisted in and has an open seat, the auto-sit will work.

Awesome table waitlist update, this is such an extremely useful feature for me, really love it, really fantastic job.

Today's PokerStars update changed the seat locations of 6 max tables. Any time you try and sit at a table where the left most seat is unavailable the auto-seating will fail. We will be releasing an update to handle the changes to the PokerStars client, hopefully with the next 24 hours, but maybe not untill later this weekend. We keep finding more things that they changed that require fixing.

Until we release an update with a fix, you can revert to the older version of pokerstars and everything will work as usual.
