Table ninja 1 had the option to set table in a slot, if you get that working in combination with ninja you have a winner imo.

We will add this feature (to clue a table extracted from the stack) - soon.
HM-6865.
I have added your email to the ticket, you will be notified when it will be implemented.

Regardling BB on a table - currently TN2 can show this on PokerStars tables only.
I have created a ticket to do same thing for FTP and Party.
HM-6864.
For screens you sent - I replied in email.

so you have to change the software license to a subscription payment method due to room updates, but when ppl bought the software rooms already had updates, so what changed ? only the "2" next to Tableninja afaik

I want to play both at the same time. Is there a way to do that and have TN work for all tables (including buying TN twice or w/e)?

Hi,

TableNinja will currently work for both sites but only for one at a time. You can set which by setting your PokerStars settings folder in TableNinja>Setup.

However You might try the TableNinja 2 beta though which supports both at the same time. You can download a copy of the program and follow its progress here:

Thanks

Hi,

Making TN2 work across several poker sites at once has been very challenging. We constantly need to maintain/update our software while also providing new features, and most importantly, providing customer support around the clock. These are not easy tasks, and in order to serve you better, we decided that we needed to move to a subscription-based payment.

We re-implemented TN2 from the ground up. If you take a look at our new software you'll see that it's brand new and the user interface is way simpler and easier to use. We're going live very soon, and then you'll see more information about the new features.

Thanks

its understandable that after all these years you have come to this conclusion, a lot of TN functionalities never actually worked well, its doesnt take a genius to understand this software needs a lot of work and that was surely evaluated when you launched it, so please remember what was the license agreement you've made with your clients.

the way i see it TN2 is nothing but an update to TN, even being programed from scratch. this is manly because you've already stated on your site what will happen to original TN users.

quote:
"2. Instead of upgrading to TableNinja II, can I continue to use TableNinja (v1)?

After TableNinja II is released for sale, there is expected to be a brief transition period where we still support TableNinja (v1). We would estimate 90 days at this time but the final determination will be made based on the post launch assessment of TableNinja II."

so we are left with a piece of software that will not be updated and will be useless, and that is NOT whats mentioned in "Tableninja user license agreement".
also the discount for TN users is laughable, 3 months, really? and only if we buy a subscription. at least a free 6 month sub to everyone for changing your mind about your business reliability and 'riping off' all your clients.

If you were to follow our TN2 release cycle, you would see that in the Beta stage, we usually release 1-2 twice weekly updates, and in the coming months, we should have new releases every 1-2 weeks. We do strive to solve critical issues ASAP, and updates from the poker sites that break our TN2 software are fixed extremely fast.

We cannot continue to upgrade TN1 forever, since that would exponentially increase our workload. That's why we chose to focus on TN2, to maintain and constantly add new features and sites, depending on your feedback.

Thanks

thats not my point.

I've told its understandable that Tableninja software has to work by subscription.
What im mostly arguing is the conditions you're giving Tableninja clients to keep their software to use.

By the way, would be glad to give some feedback on "TN2", on old version there was an option with 4 slots with hotkeys for table positioning and resizing that are not available now. Also add more slots if thats possible.

tks

TN2 has "Ninja tile" layout, with 1 slot apart.
TN2 has ability to create "custom" layout - as you wish to put tables on screen.
Request to have "set aside" hotkey is already written up: HM-6823
I added your ask for "more slots" in that ticket.

Hi,

About the "Set aside" - it's on our short-term TODO list, due to user feedback So yes, we'll have it very soon.

Best,
John

With that said, I created another user (tn-john), to match the name I have on the TN forums. Sorry I did not think of this before posting the first answer.
I will not be using this account (78suited) anymore.

Best,
John

Someone who's just learning the game and playing micros can't afford 20$ a month. you'll just lose clients. Make it no fee up to plo/nl 50, that way you at least get the initial payment and make people used to the software so when they move up they will start paying, because they can't play without it.

new TN2 - GUTTED.

you are really pissing on low stake players here - my problem..?

I purchased TN 1 month ago - 1 MONTH, purely for the table opening feature.

I play 10/12 tables 3.50 sng games. so wtf am I meant to do now.

pay an extra $10 per month for the luxury of having an extra 2/4 tables open?
wait I get a discount if I buy for a year...

thats 43 BUY INS, so I can't pay a lump payment for a year.

if I get the $10 license, can I manually open more tables or will your software tell me I am violating your terms and stop working?

paying $70 for 1 month use, and then being offered 3 free months (same as everyone that has owned the product for ages) is a joke.

I thought I had purchased a great invaluable product, only to have it wrenched away from me. what it the latest I can ask for a full refund, I will then use free trial and see if limiting my play to 8 tables is worth paying for.

thanks

I love table ninja and I'm going to continue using it, but this is a ridiculous move. Nobody cares that you did all kinds of complicated things to provide us with a bunch of unnecessary stuff that few people are going to use. From the outside this looks like a minor software upgrade and you're trying to charge way too much for it. Well at least there's more room for competitors to offer a comparable product at a much more affordable price.

I've been thinking for a long time that a one off payment system for something like tableninja is dumb, so I'm not really surprised or disappointed if this change happens (skimming through posts atm, can't seem to find any official announcement).

With that said I don't know how you justify the figures I'm seeing mentioned itt, so I'm gonna be waiting for you to demonstrate how this is going to be so much better value for me to lay out so much money for something I can do with autohotkey and pokerstars native hotkey support for 90% of the features in tableninja that I actually use.

I'm also apprehensive about spending that much on a product I'm essentially renting when it's developed by the people who stonewalled the constant calls to not force updates on players.

Hi,

Keeping TableNinja integrated with all of its supported poker clients requires constant maintenance, particularly now that online poker sites all have different regional clients. At the same time, online poker and multi-tabling are constantly evolving and it is crucial that we have the resources to provide players with the best possible experience as new game types and play styles emerge.

Over the past five years, we've released several hundred updates to TableNinja (v1) that add new features based on requests from the community, support new game types, and support updates to all of the poker clients. Each of these updates requires substantial time and money and we've learned that a one time payment is simply not a sustainable way to provide the kind of quality software that our users deserve.

TableNinja II has been rewritten from scratch to be more powerful, flexible, and easier to use. Your monthly subscription will ensure that it is continually evolving to match changes to the poker sites you play on and to provide the features elite poker players need.

If you purchased a TableNinja (v1) license after Feb 15, 2013 and decide that you DO NOT want to upgrade to TableNinja II, you are eligible for a refund on that purchase. Email support@TableNinja.com to request the refund.

Please be aware that your TableNinja (v1) license will be cancelled and you will not be eligible for any upgrade credits for which you receive free months of TableNinja II.

I have passed all your comments onto our Management.

Thanks

Are there any plans to implement cheaper single site licenses? For example, if I only play on pokerstars, I'm not bothered about the product supporting FTP and party as well.

Hi,

We have moved away from the model of having a separate program for each pokersite for many good reasons. Like many other poker software and trackers out there it is just one program that supports various sites as part of the package but it is the same price for users whether you use one or all of the supported sites.

We may also add more sites in the future but there is no official announcement on that as of yet.

Thanks

This is against License agreement. Key can not be reselled. If you will do - its grounds for the license to be terminated
