please see the thread i linked to on the SaT forums. if you guys can help me track down this problem, i would really appreciate it.

the only popup that SaT is intended to close is the "are you sure you want to fold, you can check for free" popup. it looks for this popup when you use a "Fold" hotkey, and also when you click on the "Fold" button with your mouse

however, i just thought of something. maybe Stars changes the "Fold" button to say something different when the tournament is over? similar to how at showdown, it will change the Fold button to say "Muck hand" or "Show hand" i forget. but the button is the same color and in the same location as it would normally be if it said "Fold"

if, upon bustout, Stars shows a button in this same spot, and after pressing this button, you get your 're-join similar tourn' popup, then maybe SaT would try to close it. SaT would 'think' that you pressed the "Fold" button and then will immediately look for a popup

SaT already does this on the sites that it can. the 888 popup doesn't expose the button controls programmatically so i haven't be able to do it.

there is also a thread on the SaT forums about an 888 popup that occurs when tournament tables are rebalanced and you get moved to a new table. this popup never goes away until you click it, and it also prevents SaT from scanning for action required, which inhibits the Old Tables feature. this is gonna be a problem to fix

you would need to ensure the same table theme on both skins

looks like the "Fold+Stack" hotkey will click the popup, perhaps thats why its happening. you bust and then you use the "Fold+stack" hotkey. that hotkey will look for the "are you sure you want to fold, you can check for free" popup. and it will 'think' its found it when in fact its found a different popup

It may have been different in the past, but I'm pretty sure checking to click the "are you sure you want to fold" button is unnecessary. I think stars has an option to always check now. Although I could be mistaken and just haven't noticed because SaT always clicks it for me.

Fixed Hopefully it's been updated to 'auto ok' 888 and winamax 'you have been moved to another table' annoying popup which has been guilty of making my tables sitout!

there is a problem with using Stars option to auto check it for you

many people requested that the Fold+Stack hotkey also click Check when you can check for free, so that they dont have to use two hotkeys

suppose a table is in the grid, and you can check for free. but you just want to use your Fold+Stack hotkey instead. SaT will click the Fold button and then Stars will auto check it for you. however, SaT thinks that a Fold just occurred and will stack the table, when in fact you checked and are still in the hand. so by allowing SaT to look for the popup, if it finds it, then we know that we are checking and can leave the table in the grid instead of re-stacking

looks like its back up now so i assume everythings working

unfortunately thats not fixed yet. theres a long thread on the SaT forums about it. its actually harder than i thought it will be which has delayed the next version

hi I am trying to help my friend set Sat. He plays HU. Here is the problem we want to keep new tables/ where he sits HU into stack and move them to the grid when someone sits in. The problem is that Sat keeps moving the new tables where he sits alone into grid and no matter how many times we send it to the stack slot it keep sendnig the 1/2 tables where he sit alone to the grid (we have the move to grind option set-> when action required)

i'm not sure what your problem is. what sites does this problem happen on?

remember, SaT thinks that action is required when it sees the betbox or the Fold button. some sites will show a button in the same location as the Fold button, but will change the words and it will say "Post BB" or something like that. but the button will be in the same spot as the Fold button, so SaT would think that action is required. however, if your case, if it says "Post BB" then thats exactly what you want, since that means someone else has sat down. i just used that as an example. maybe theres another button that is being shown?

can you take some screenshots of what the tables look like when they get moved out incorrectly?

It's probably recognizing them as old tables? Try changing that setting to either a really high number or 0?

Is anyone here able to use SaT (stack and tile mode) with ongame tables?

When I use the "move to grid when action required option" SaT always sends my tables back to the grid immediately. Even clicking my fold-and-stack hotkey wont send the ongame tables to the grid. Does anyone know of a solution, or have a mod that works with SaT (grinders.org mod causes same problem for me)?

Also, I have an issue with William Hill, using the embedded version on SaT. When I use the "move to grid when action required option" SaT sends my table to the grid as soon as I am dealt cards, that is, before its actually my turn to act.

good catch. this could def be the problem. especially if the tables wait 5 minutes before they pop into the grid

i'm curious about this too. there have been numerous reports in the past of ongame failing with SaT. i'm like 99% sure that ongame and Revolution no longer work because they prevent SaT from scanning the tables. these two sites should probably be removed from SaT support

the problem is that the "Stack Table" hotkey probably does send the table to the stack, but then SaT immediately moves the table back into the grid.

people have reported that SaT ALWAYS thinks that action is required on ongame or revolution tables

what network is William Hill? have you checked the SaT help page?

this problem sounds like the pre-action checkbox is the same color as the actual fold button. so as soon as you are dealt cards, the pre-action checkbox is shown, and SaT is detecting this as if it were the action fold button.

sometimes this means that you aren't running SaT as administrator when the pokersite IS being run as administrator

do you get any warning messages from SaT upon opening it? try right clicking the SaT icon and selecting "Run as Administrator"

running both as admin , did try both, built in settings and custom site , neiter works , SaT doesnt recognize arty tables

one more thing. the Party lobby needs to already be open when you press Start. please try the built-in PartyPokerModern settings, and make sure that the party lobby is already open before you press Start

the problem with william hill does indeed seem to be that the checkboxes were too similar to the buttons. it works now that i've switched to the grinder.org ipoker mod, which is nice anyway i didn't even need to create a custom site as the generic ipoker setting did the trick.

re: my problem with drag and drop. to be more specific, the problem is that i will click on a table to drag it elsewhere or swap it with another, but it kind of resists moving. it will work sometimes if i do the motion really quick, though most of the time it does not.

maybe another problem i'm having is related and might shed light on the issue with the drag and drop: on bwin (party poker), when i try to click on a note icon, the colors pop up for a split second, but they automatically disappear, which of course makes it difficult to mark players with a colour. i can confirm that this issue occurs only when SaT is running. sorry if this explanation does not make the problem clear. thanks in advance for any help!

are you using the built in PartyPokerModern settings?

i mean the issue sounds like somehow clicks are being sent to the table or something like that. that would cause the dragdrop to stop. and it would cause the note popup to disappear.

but in that case, the dragdrop should fail on all sites i guess. does it work on some?

can we do a teamviewer session or sth ?

ohhh wait i just realized you said bwin. maybe SaT is missing support for your bwin skin

do this:

open up SaT. there is a secret hotkey: CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + T

click on the bwin lobby and press that hotkey. it will copy some information about the lobby to the clipboard. then just come back here and paste me the results
