Same here. I don't care if it is free or not I will pay for StackAndTile. I just can't play without it I simply can't multitabling without it effectively...

Threatening to not buy a product that isnt for sale is a little pointless. As is complaining about the support for a free product. You get what you pay for and you haven't paid.

Well to be fair he didnt threat, he just stated he wouldnt buy anything cuz there was no support up when the program expired.

I even think he has a point, i love this program and i would for sure pay money to use it, but this is not related to how i think its a bit bad that he sets a date (feb.15) that the program expires, but is not ready with a simple posting statement about the future of the program for everyone using it.

Its a beta product (thats clearly stated on the download page)

That means you shouldnt expect support and you cant complain for loss of service..... as this is a beta product, you are a beta tester.. you are just expecting too much.

I think i read awhile back a post about tentative pricing model. Does anyone remember what he is thinking of charging eventually? A ballpark?

You are right. The problem is that for people like me it is a disaster. I used to playing with stackandtile and it allows me to easily multitable. I play nl100 so not being able to use it literally costs me money.
I wish I could buy it without expiration date. It works fine and I haven't seen there any bugs/problems for a while. I don't care if it isn't free anymore I will buy it anyway.
I just really need it now

I dont know why you think beta means "not able to complain or have opinions, AT ALL".

I know what kind of program it is, that is unrelated to how i think its not well done to set an expire date and then not have a simple word for the people using the program ready.

cmon guys, why all the complaining? He's not obligated to any of this. Like Stu said, this is just the beta version. Is he supposed to be sitting here waiting for us or hire support people and pay them with they money we have paid for SaT?

Sure, when I couldn't use it today I found out how nice it really was. It's been < a day. I don't' know OP, but I'm sure he has a life too.

i appreciate everyones concern. it actually inspires me a bit to get this thing out for good. when i get so little feedback, i wonder how many people actually use this, and if its worth my time to do anything.

betas have expired in the past, i'm usually on it by the next day at the very least. i check this thread daily, today i was just having some issues at home so i wasnt on my computer. i apologize for that. setting a date and then not updating isnt good, and usually i'm on top of it

when its for sale, there will obv be no expiration date. hopefully it will only require an internet connection upon first startup as well, that should help incase the site ever goes down

IMPORTaNT: btw, if/when it does go for sale, i dont plan on answering 100 support emails a day, and will probably limit support to answering questions on this forum or a forum on the site. i will put a lot better documentation on the site so everyone can understand all the settings. but i'm just warning that this will not be your normal purchase where you can spam support with every little complaint, cause i honestly, i dont want to be bothered. my hourly at the tables is so much higher to even care. if this doesnt work for anyone, youre under no obligation to buy.

The sun is hot.

Im sorry, did i just say something obvious and unrelated just like you did?

I would will buy the program when its possible, i love it and the greg is amazing.
I can have a simple opinion that setting the date to expire and not be ready with just a word about it is bad and still be fine with everything else.

Thanks Greg, I will buy it when its for sale. The only feature that I feel like SaT is currently lacking is "Autostack after showdown".
