I'm playing at the micro limits on pokerstars.it (€ 0.01/0.02), and I can not run the free version of the program...

I have make layout, a custom site for ps.. but when i press start, there are 0 table stacked, 0 tilled, 0 New...

I used sat on many other poker room, so i don't think it's a configuration problem...I think the problem is the €uro....any idea???thanks

h_ven was reporting something similar to this just the other day. the "every so often" part leads me to believe that this might be related to the Old Tables feature, maybe these random occurances are when no action has been needed after 5 mins or so, and maybe the bug is related to that

are you using Old Tables feature?

yeah, youll have to try to use the Custom Site Creator for Entraction. however, other people have tried in the past and found difficulties with their software. apparently they use java which makes it difficult to read the fold button

what are the include and exclude title texts that you are currently using?
give me some examples of the tourney lobby title bar text and i'll help you

i've tested it on euro tables, but only on pokerstars.com, not .it

is there a reason why you made a custom site instead of trying the built in pokerstars settings?

I only use: Genting Poker: Nickname: my poker id to exclude the loby. The each SNG lobby windows title is like: Tournament 567866441 - "Turbo" $x NLH

here x could be 5 or 10

so you only use an exclude setting, and dont use anything for the "include_title_text"?

if so, try adding this to your custom ini:

this will mean that only windows with "/" will be matched (as long as your sngs show the blind level 100/200 in the title you should be good), so that lobby example won't be matched

after i added the customised the myipoker, my Sat freezs at each time i used at bigining, after i ended it, i can use again. is there any log i can send to you to take a look. I use windows xp

I would like to make sure my stars will not crash first (when it crashes, i need to kill the SaT, and eventuall a pop up will show up says if I would like to send the error report to microsoft, more like internet browser error). here is the copy and paste of my stars.

this error should not happen. you are the first person to report this problem.

is it only when you try to use SaT? does it happen only when you press Start?

It normally is happening at begining as I press start and at the end when I press stop. But yesterdy, after I played about 2 hour no problem (up 18 tables) but after I closed all tables and pressed at stop, it hanging (freezed) so I have to kill it and at that time, a microsoft pop up message says if I would like to send error report to ms.

Please help.

Yes I am using the old tables feature. However, its rare that there is no action for so long on a table that is being played on? But I guess compared to a 6 handed cash table, a 9 handed tournament could take a fair bit longer. I will try making the old tables thing a bit longer.

this is very strange and no one has reported it before. the fact that it doesn't happen all the time makes it even harder to figure out, and makes me think that maybe something else on your system is causing a problem with SaT. you said yesterday it worked for 2 hours without a problem.

when you click Start/Stop, SaT tries to connect to the internet to validate your trial or license, so maybe you have a firewall problem or something thats conflicting with SaT.

this is really strange and i'm sorry i dont have a better answer for you, but i honestly don't believe that SaT is at fault here

well, some cash game hands can last 5 minutes, in combination with the delays of the next hand preflop. it was rare that it got triggered during testing, but sometimes it did. i figured 5 minutes was the best balance by default, just in case they were in fact sitting out earlier by missing a timebank or something

tournaments are a little different since most of the action is preflop. only early on in the tournament do hands play through to the river. as blinds rise and stacks get shallower, pretty much people are raise/shoving preflop and thats it, usually that means that the hands go quicker in that case. maybe if people are stalling on the bubble you would trigger the Old Tables duration? i dont konw

some how, it could not connect in time or some thing else, so the SaT freezs after that.

Yesterday I downloaded this and did all the setup work, and it worked on Playmoney tables.
Today, I wanted to test it out on real money tables and I get the message that "Stack and Tile"-website could not be reached.... wtf
So I took a look at
http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/ and website timed out.

Not cool.

Rule #1 if you implement any kind of DRM or whatever people call it:
Make sure that the verification servers are ALWAYS online.

I made setup for DBGpoker (dollaropoker network). Because it is not a client based network but browser based I made it for google chrome. I have been testing it for a week and it works with no problems.

Just don't use google chrome while playing (it will include every window with / it is pretty rare but sometimes some sites may have /). It works both preflop and postflop. Just preflop there is 6 buttons and it works only with bottom 3 so "fold any bet" check call" and "bet raise all"

there is no way to make sure anything is ALWAYS online. its the internet, stuff happens. i have a the main website that the software checks, and if the site is down, i also have a backup site that it checks, but only the main site can add new users into the system. i figured this was 'good enough'. i am just using a basic webhost service, so in that sense, its def not top of the line and could be improved from that standpoint, but i'm not sure how much that would change uptime

yeah that will be the problem with a web based poker client. there may be a better way than just including "/" but we'd have to analyze the browser titles

On poker stars, for cash games, what is the best way (setup) to handle the focus? I have SaT, tableninja and poker stars client, they are all trying to set focus on next windows. Please advise the most practical setup.

what sites are you using SaT with?

if its pokerstars only, then you should only allow ONE of the programs to handle the focus, not both:

- SaT setting is in About->Advanced options (Bring Urgent Tables to Top)

my recommendation is to turn OFF the pokerstars setting, and leave the SaT setting turned ON. if you ever run into problems, you can then try the reverse.

i am not familiar with the TableNinja setting, youll have to tell me what it is
