yes I am using the newest version.

However I just exported the hands manually and reimported them in pt4

Glad you found a workaround, but it doesn't help us solve the problem for other users before we release commercially, that is why the beta is free ;-) if you feel up to it, we would still appreciate your help in determining the cause of this bug. thnx!

btw any idea when the filter options for notetracker like board texture etc are available?

There are filters for board texture, we are only missing the Board Cards area in the Texture section - the rest of the texture filters should be working properly for you.

Here is an example of the Board Texture filters that Kraada mentioned above. We have Board Pairing, Board Suits, and Board Connectedness implemented. Board Cards will be added prior to launch - we postponed this module of the filter because it is the toughest to build, but the least useful. I'm sure you will find this filter subsystem will be exactly what you were looking for, enjoy!

Is it a known bug that it always shows my own HUD at the table (or for my aliases) if I have "everyone but hero" in the HUD profile checked?

I haven't seen that reported, no - what site is this for? Does this happen while you're playing or only while you're waiting to sit in when you first join a table?

Any estimate on when it will be possible to open more than one note editor window at the same time? Pretty important for note writing when playing Zoom.

Still PT4 is crushing, when tables are open and you change the HUD. This is f****. Had to close all tables and now that **** doesn't import anymore. Very stable!! Have to download the whole crap again, all changes for the ass!

Oh yes, fantastic, now the installer tells me something error with HUD-file. ffffuuuuuu. Tilts me.

Ok, 45min later i reimported and reinstalled everything.

Fix the problem of the crash with tables open and changing the HUD or lock the option to change the HUD while importing.

We don't intend to have more than 1 editor open at the same time in PT4 at this time. It was considered, but it would require a significant rewrite of the note subsystem - perhaps in the future, it is something we know players like you want, perhaps someday we will find an efficient way to accomplish this but right now it is not on our agenda list.

Sounds like a problem with your computer, we have not experienced these issues, and from reading our support tickets and this thread there is nobody else with similar problems.

I don't understand. Tables can be open while importing, that is how PokerTracker works - importing needs to take place to display the HUD. Additionally you can change HUD profiles while importing and playing live, there is no need to lock this functionality - it works, it is designed to do this. Please explain in very specific detail so we can help you better.

Don't think, that this is a problem with my computer. I have a AMD PHenom 2 Quad Core with 8GB RAM, 2 HDDs (one Seagate Barracuda only for the DB). I always play 24 tables and wanted now to change 2 HUD-stats while playing (import running). After finishing the changes and pressing apply, PT4 freezed and i had to close it with the task-manager. It's the 2nd time, that this happened.

Are there still the log-files of PT4 on my HDD after deinstalling? If yes, tell me where and i will send u.

There was no need to reinstall, just contact us in the future with a support ticket as explained in the prior post.

This should not cause PokerTracker 4 to freeze. I can play on many tables and change stats in a HUD profile without any problems - there is some delay as the HUD is updated on each table, but there is never any crashes or freezes that I have experienced in the recent beta builds. Next time this happens quit out of PokerTracker 4 then send us the logs immediately before restarting PokerTracker. The logs are found in C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4, the files we need are PokerTracker4.log and PokerTRackerHUD4.log - be sure to include a detailed explanation, the more information we have, the faster we can determine what may be causing the problem. The files should still be there when PT4 is uninstalled I think.

But regardless, can you explain a little more about why you were editing the HUD when playing so many tables? Obviously we don't want freezes, but I'd like to hear more about why the change had to be made in the middle of your session. Perhaps I'm a bit slow but I'd much rather take the time to edit the HUD to my liking playing one (or two) tables, then scale up once I'm happy with what I've got - am I missing something useful here?

Managed to crash it the same way again and sended the log-files (only the HUD-log, other one was empty). Don't worry, i'm not 24-tableing AND changing the HUD. I play 24 tables, have a glorious idea to change something, sit out, change, apply..........

Additional one small issue (i already posted it): Color-ranges sometimes don't apply and the HUD-stat stays white. Would be nice, if you would fix that.

We're aware of a couple of coloring issues and we are working on a fix.

Can you please consider this option then? Make it possible to right click playername and "edit note on player" in the hand history viewer window (the small one that is connected to the HUD, not the larger one that is in PT4 main window).

The feature list for PT4 has been finalized, we are busy finishing the existing features, we need to focus on releasing PokerTracker 4 now commercially, and then follow it up with the OS X version of PT4. But I can assure you that we have already discussed these ideas internally, they are on our mind for future possibilities.


You should probably add another step just to be safe - stop importing, make the HUD change, start importing again, sit back in. This workflow wil task your computer the least, and in turn probably stop the crashes.
