Dude. Bang. Consider yourself shot.

Cake does not allow HUDs as part of their terms & conditions, but HEM can download hands to review. All Merge skins allow HUDs and HEM works fine with it ... except w/ tourneys where it has a hard time finding the table. There's a workaround, but it's clumsy. Apparently HEM will eventually fix it.

Fyi, Bodog doesn't write HH's to your drive, so you have to buy Idleminer to get it to work. Big drag & not worth it, imo.

They've been talking about adding new stats for a while now, but I think it's really happening soon. Check the HEM forum. Not sure if you can see it though unless you create a forums acct.

This was posted by Morny yesterday in the stat thread. Other than this we are also working on several bug fixes for which an update will be released soon. I do not know at this time if all this will be in a single update or not.

HEM will work on both but as rowhousepd has already mentioned Cake does not allow anyone to use huds on their network so we disable its use while running Cake to comply with their terms and conditions. You can still review your hands in the interface just like any other site and view the hands in the replayer but can’t use the hud when playing live.

I just started using HEM again after about 7 months.

No problemo with Merge, update and everything runs smooth even though another program needed to download .net framework 4.0.

However, every time I launch, asking for email and account? Now, this version has the license on the site - AND I did set up an account awhile back - but since then, all account details were erased from my browser.

I keep clicking ask me later, and it still runs. So - what should I be doing if I click Update License?

Enter your account info/pass and that should be it. If you have any issues entering/updating your details, please email your details/questions to sales@holdemmanager.com.

alright, actually did a search, and found my Sales Registration.

Entered that info, and it worked - though not sure why we are doing this?

You must have installed HM to a non-default path and the update cant find it.

Shortcut to Holdem Manager > Right-Click > Properties > Shortcut tab > Start in

That is where you need to Browse and direct the update patch.


If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

We made changes internally to our registration system and need everyone to validate/update their details. It should help make the registration site more effective and reliable.

The same code can be used on 2 pc's at once and can be reset as often as needed.

If your code isn't there already you can upload it manually and then reset the code whenever necessary.

Really? It was working more or less earlier. Now the hands do appear in HEM but the cards are not shown and as a result EV is not calculated. Is there a way to prevent this? I don't mind the game not being supported (since I don't play it that often), but if it's not, the hands shouldn't show up in HEM and mess up my regular omaha stats either.

This should not affect importing hands.

On the import TAB check if there are import errors showing up, if so can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database and see if there is also import errors with that database

hud options > site options full tilt > disable all option boxes

options > configure auto import folders > auto detect > ok

Ok, so Im still having trouble with Cake. HH's are saved, and I can find them when I search my comp. from the start menu. When I try to add a folder (HEM will not auto detect my cake folder), I can not find the correct path.

It goes C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\CPN\Cake\Hand History

As I am trying to manually add, I cant find anything past xxxxx, there is no AppData folder. Like I said I type that path into the start menu search and it takes me there.

I am pretty computer illiterate, so someone please guide me if you can.

(Downloaded latest update and tried again to no avail.)

You know that you have to use your user name instead of "xxxxx".
Also this path depends on the windows version and language you are using. For example in a german windows 7 its c:\Benutzer\"your name"\....
and this folder usually is hidden so you need to activate to display system files and folders and to display hidden files/folders in the windows folder options.

no errors it will just not import any hands also it can find the game but hands dont get imported

Running a SQL query would not corrupt your database typically. Likely something else happened around the same time such as a power outage, windows crash, or you have bad sectors on your HDD.

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

Yea I x'd out user name because it is my actual name.

I dont know what you mean by activating to display system files and folders.
Basically when I click on my user name there is no app data file to click.

If there is some option to tick somewhere to "activate" hidden files, please point me in the right direction, I am really a computer dummy.

Thanks for all the help thus far though, even if I am a pain.
