That should be a false positive. You can upload it to virustotal to be sure something didn't infect our files somehow.

1.12.10b is REALLY old. Please update to the latest/final version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...se_1.14.02.exe

We stopped selling HM1 licenses when HM2 was released in November of 2011. We stopped updating for critical bugs and providing support for HM1 at the end of April 2014 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...mmon+Questions

If you continue to have problems there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software so you should consider trying HM2. If you have not tried it recently you should be able to install the latest update and activate a new 30 day trial. If you have any problems with the trial let us know and we can extend the trial for you manually.

You are very welcome.

You were the HM1 customer I sent the 'licdebug' instructions to? Make sure you specify you are using HM1 when posting in this thread as we assume you are using HM2 unless you mention HM1 since we no longer support HM1.

Good luck at the tables. If you have any further questions or problems do not hesitate to ask us.

I just updated my HM1 to the latest version. HM does import fulltilt tournament hands but no hud appears. Table finder option doesn't work either. Any help on this would be appreciated. Playing an FTOPS event as we speak.

Full Tilt updated their hand history format and other things this summer after we released the final HM1 update.

1.12.10b is very old (2 or 3 years old). There may have been false positives a long time ago but not many people still use HM1, and those that do should be using 1.14.02 which is basically a year old now. A false positive is your choice of antivirus working incorrectly by detecting a safe file as malicious. Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager and will sometimes incorrectly detect some of our files as malicious due to the way these files behave.

I've got problems with seating preferences. Currently playing on Pacific, I opened up lobby settings and selected preferred seat. Did the same in site setup in HM2, under Pacific, I selected 6 max and then the same seat I selected in the lobby, but what happens is that the HUDs won't automatically adjust according to my relative position, but they stay as if I'm still observing tables, randomly on each table. Is there anything else to be done about this?

Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] Panel Positions > OK

1) Open one Table only and ensure at least 1 hand has imported before moving to step 2.
2) Move the stats with the Arrow Buttons (< >) on the Table Averages HUD to rotate your HUD to the correct position.
3) Now you can open more tables and it should be automatically configured. Let at least 1 hand import before changing anything as this is needed to gather the correct positions.

If you have any difficulty following the above method with the arrow buttons you can set the positions manually as explained here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...1/Site+Setup#5

Did all of the above, but the problem still persists. Nothing seems to have changed.

Anything else I can try? Thanks for the quick response.

We will need to see some logs/pics:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

If you have a 64 bit operating system and a large database you may get better performance by using a 9.x version but if you have 8.4 installed and are not having issues it is not worth the time and potential problems to your database to upgrade/replace PostgreSQL. We never recommend upgrading or replacing a working Postgresql version.

Our installer includes 8.4 by default as it is the most stable/reliable version. We plan to update our installer to install a 9.x version in the future but it is going to be a major project.

hi, im transfering my database to my new laptop and i thought id remember how to do it but turned out i didnt.

i put the backup on a 32GO USB key, then i inserted the USB into my new laptop and i opened my new HM2 on the new laptop. in hm2, i clicked on database then restore. then i click on the folder to select the backup file which is in the usb key. then the restoring begins, in the middle it says it has problem because someone else is using HM2temp(Etc) on this computer (something like that), i click ok and the restore continue. at the end, hm2 restart. when i click on database, there is 3 or 4 database on the left. 2 or 3 has 7000kb in size, (the main one is one of those), and one name HM2temp(Etc) has 10Go.. probably my old database, the one im trying to restore. it says i cannot use HM2temp as the main database because its not found on my computer (something like that). of course when i go in reports it says i have no hands in this computer

i understand the details are not perfectly written but i think you'll figure out what the problem is.. if not ill make a clearer report

thanks in advance

I have never heard of a problem described like this. Did you already have a database on the new machine with the same name? Have you tried copying the backup file to your local drive from the USB drive before you attempt to restore it?

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data:

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...dem+Manager%3F

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency.

I have holdem manager 2. The player stat tracking and HUD seem to work on omaha tables.

Is this intended?

If it is intended my version is broken because it doesn't track stats reliably for some people.

If it is not intended then my version is broken because it works a good % of the time, and apparently it should not work at all.

Super frustrated at having to quit games because of this .

I don't believe it should matter I was just trying to get more information. If the restore fails again upload the file to dropbox, googledrive, etc and email us a download link for testing.

The HUD will work on Omaha tables even if you only have a Holdem license. You just won't be able to see the hands in the reports until you upgrade your license.

We will need more details about what exactly the problems are and some screen shots/logs to try and figure out what the problem is but that may be difficult for you since you can't compare what you see in the HUD to what is in the database/reports.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

ok so it suceeded but i have a new problem. i restore it, it worked. i gave the database a name and its the one in question that is selected as the main and only database and it says its 10GO big. when i go in reports, all my old reports are the way they'r supposed to and when i click on my username, at the extreme bottom right of the screen, i can look and browse players and see the number of hands they have played... but in my reports, there is no hand (no reports). even if i clear filters or if i click refresh. and when i open HM2, no hands seems to load

It sounds like it didn't backup or restore properly but we can't be sure without testing the database ourselves. There is a chance the reports could have been corrupted so try the following and if that doesn't help email us a download link for the backup file to test.

Close HM2
Please delete everything in:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Re ports and \Filters
Windows XP: C:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Reports and \Filters

Showing hidden files: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...in+Windows%3F+
Restart HM2 and the issue should be resolved.
