Having issue getting HUD to pop up on Lock.

Using HEM1 1.12.10a, set up the auto import folder and am importing hands. Also running HEM and HUD as admin (Win 7).

Any thoughts?

Make sure you have the .10a update from 31May or it won't work - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa..._31May2011.exe

If you continue to have problems, try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK.

Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Select the table name to highlight it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK, then Yes.

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...oesn'tWork

Please email the answers, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Small problem with my HEM2.

In the tourny defaults I've set the default buy ins to what I want. However once I finish a tourny the buy in keeps jumping back to 11 even though in defaults it says otherwise. Even after manually editing the results it'll automatically change back to 11 once I close and re-open the program.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

What site is this happening on? I assume this is HM2? Version 6866? It sounds like a bug that I think will be fixed in our next update (already fixed in the internal builds).

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and we can test the hands in the latest build and search for any open/resolved bugs.

I got the email but you sent a CSV file exported from the reports. I need some original hand history files for testing.

You can find the original hand histories in the gamehistory.dat file in the poker client folder or in your \HM2Archive folder. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31).

i backed up the player notes from some database A and i want to "restore" them into my database B; will this overwrite the notes of database B? or will it merge them together?

It will actually either ignore or append the note. What it does is it looks to see if the imported note is already part of the current note and if so it ignore. If not it will append to the existing note.

So ,if in the DB a player has a note "he is a fish" and then you try to import a note that simply says "fish" it will ignore it since "fish" is contained within "he is a fish". If the imported note said "fishy" then his new note would be

"he is a fish
fishy"

I have a question about HM2 Table Scanner;

When I have two criteria for a score it gives them a score if they meet each criteria. For example:

And VPIP >50
AND #Hand>20
Score =5

However anyone that meets this criteria is given a score of 10. Apparently 5 for each criteria.

I am sorry about that. I should have suggested that you make a backup of your other notes as well to be safe. Hopefully you did that without me telling you to.

The reply I gave was my standard reply from HM1 import/export of notes. Apparently the backup/restore function of hm2 is different. I will do some testing on this tonight and write a bug if I can reproduce your problems.

Our testers were unable to reproduce this using our latest internal build.

Please update to the latest internal - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

Guys are you any closer to getting this bug sorted yet?

I played one hand and had to leave the table because it's so tilting with the stats all in the wrong place.

If I move them it just messes the hud up for when the table fills.

This is a 9max table on Pacific? Are you also playing 6max or 10max tables at the same time? I think/thought we had recently resolved this but am having trouble finding the bug in our system to see if it is fixed/resolved..

Please try this latest internal build - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

Update to the latest internal version 1.12.10a from the following link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...03June2012.exe

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Is this a laptop of desktop? Laptops generally have 5,400rpm HDD and a desktop normally has a 7,200rpm HDD.

Is the HM2 software lagging when trying to change reports/settings or is the poker client tables/buttons/actions lagging while trying to play?

We are working on lots of changes right now to try and improve performance and doing a ton of internal testing to see if these changes are making significant improvements. I am not sure how much longer it will be until we are able to roll out these changes but I wanted to let you know that this is very important to us and we are spending 1,000's of man hours on it to try and improve it.

In HM2 you need to go to the Site Options > Site: Pokerstars, and then change the drop-down menu in the middle for the changes to take effect.

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...D+Site+Options

You can also just open a table, choose your preferred HUD from the drop-down on the Settings HUD at the table, and choose 'use for all similar tables'.

I bought HM1 in summer of 2008 if I remember correctly. In January 2012 I upgraded HM1 to HM2+Omaha. I'm personally looking to downgrade back down to HM1, but I would like to get Omaha added to that license. Is there any way that I could make this happen?
