Hey

I am currently having issues with HEM HUD.

It works with Party poker but not pokerstars - but it has always worked with pokerstars until now?!

Any ideas???

Much appreciated.

Blitz support will first be added to HM2 and then we will focus on supporting it in HM1. Without any specific knowledge of how the Poker Stars client will change for Blitz, it is completely speculative as to how long after launch it will take to add support for it in HM2 and then later HM1. However, it will obviously be a top priority.

Did you auto-update to 6143 or use a link you got somewhere? That is our current internal build and you should be using the public build 6112 unless you want to experience other new bugs from the latest internal we are still testing/updating.

I would suggest you roll back to 6112 from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

We had a couple reports of this but the majority of our testers haven't been able to reproduce it in the latest internal build.

Please reproduce the problem and email your log.txt file.

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'holdemmanager'. Email this log file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

Please zip and email the files, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

No, it is not possible to use HM1 Custom stats in HM2. We have plans to add a Custom Stat builder/writer eventually but we do not have any sort of ETA at this time.

Pokerstars recently updated their software so you need to update HM1 as it doesn't have an auto-update feature like HM2.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...oesn'tWork

Please email the answers, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

One thing I have noticed is that it does not make any difference to my HM1 setup whether the database holds 1mil, 5mil, 10mil or 20mil hands. But in HM2 I see a significant performance decline with database growth to the point that now, at 6mil hands it becomes a real pain using the hud, the replayer and reports. Actions on tables during live play are interrupted for 1-3 second lags while the hud is active and the flow returns to normal/instant as soon as I turn off the hud.

This decline is noticeably proportional to database growth which I can notice beautifully at this time because due to other bugs (Notecaddy updating over and over again) I had to reinstall HM2 and postgres from scratch again several times recently and therefor could reiterate the various stages of performance decline.

My question to this matter: Is general performance and responsiveness of hud, replayer and reports something that will be fixed soon?

We are constantly working on performance improvements and the latest HM2 releases are already much faster than the earlier ones.

What happens if you select another playername? Do you see sessions in the selected sessions box?

Hi, I have a question about the HEM1 hud, since it has so many stats that confuse me.

In 'player preferences' under 'Vs continuation bet', the stats: Fold to turn CB, and Fold to river CB.. do they indicate someone has cbet flop then barreled turn, or cbet flop, barreled turn and then bet river? Or do they mean delayed cbets for turn and river?
Also, im using 'Fold to flop CB raised pot' for fold to cbet% in single raised pot, and for how often someone cbets in a single raised pot im using 'flop raised pot CB'.. Are these the rights stats for what im after?

I have created a custom HUD in HM2 but whenever i start a table it loads the default HM2 HUD and i have to manually change it to my own. I might have looked over it but is there an option to set my custom HUD as the default?

Fold to ... CB is folding to 2nd or 3rd barrel, no delayed cbets.

I'm a little confused with the 2nd part of your question. Did you check our stats FAQ? http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...at+Definitions
If that doesn't help please explain your question in more detail.

After changing the hud go to Settings -> use for all tables of similar type.
Another way is Hud options -> Site options: select site, gametype, table size and the Hud configuration you like to use on the right side. After this click "Apply"

Im hoping this is in the right thread. I am just having a new computer built and hoping that the datatransfer goes ok. I will have a new version of windows and I am worried about getting HM1 set up properly on the machine as I had problems before where I had 20gb+ size files.

Is there anybody I can get to check/ do the instalation properly so i know the data is over and saving in the right place. I expect that this is just the simple HEM instuctions and maybe a little troubleshooting but I am useless with this kind of thing and would prob just prefer to pay somebody a few $$ and know its done properly. (Hopefully i can post this here)

There is no need to pay anyone to help with this. The following links should help you.

We have a backup and restore feature within Holdem Manager that makes it easy for you to backup all your settings, hand histories and files.
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...up+%26+Restore

This is a new feature and there are some compatibility issues with it so if you have any problems you can do this manually by following the instructions below:

Manual database backup/restore via pgadmin - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...store+Database

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...g+Preferences+

Find and backup your \HMArchive folder. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

Export your Hand Histories
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

Export Your Notes
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

If you have problems with the backup process above, please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you. I schedule support from 09:00 - 18:00 GMT, any day except Sunday or Wednesday.

We will continue to support the HM1 parser and table scanner and will also address critical bugs in HM1. This will be ongoing for an extended period of time but we have not yet established a firm date.

Oh boy, HM2 is driving me crazy once again, 3rd time now I'm giving up on trying to make it work and going back to HM1 again. Sooo painful with the lags, replayer sluggish, days in reports missing, database backup/restore not working properly, notecaddy starting note creation all over again for no apparent reason and bloating postgres, etc.

I really hope HM1 will be supported and updated for quite some time to come and may all hell break lose on you Hem guys should you dare to provide Blitz support only for HM2 and drop HM1 once that is live. I'll hire a Russian mob squad to pay you a visit if this rumor should have ANY truth to it. Stop bullying your customers into using an inferior product (HM2) instead of a superior one (HM1) before it is ready. We do not like it!

What version are you using now? You never replied to my earlier posts asking how you managed to update to our internal build instead of the public build.

Please roll back to the public build like I suggested earlier instead of using our internal builds - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...2.0.0.6112.exe

It would help us, to help you, if you could give us more details and send us a log file.

Which version? When do you experience the lags? Which tab are you on? Do you have an Alias or a Site/Screen name selected for the player/hero? Are you using the All Hands date filter, or something smaller like Today or This Month?

Please reproduce the problem and attach your log.txt file.

replayer sluggish,
This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I don't have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, we are putting out updates regularly, and this is one of the high priority issues.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is 3970. We will often release builds on a limited basis, only in the forums for a few days first, so please check back in this forum http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When 3970 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

days in reports missing,
Which reports? Which sites do you play? Were these hands auto-imported or were they imported directly from an HM1 database?

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem hand histories. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

database backup/restore not working properly,
Which version of HM2 are you using? When was postgreSQL installed, and was it installed using our HM2 Setup package? Any details you can give would be of great help. I experienced this same problem today using our latest beta but none of the other testers have been able to reproduce it yet. I think it is related to our latest update for our postgresql combo installer but it will require some more testing by me so i can write the bug for our testers to reproduce.

This is another of the high priority issues we hope to have resolved very soon.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is 4113. We will often release builds on a limited basis, only in the forums for a few days first, so please check back in this forum http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.

and bloating postgres,
The NC Looping issue is bloating SQL for you? Can you please be more detailed about what part of SQL is being bloated and how you determined that? The notes aren't actually duplicated in the bug we wrote for this problem and there is no mention of SQL getting larger as a result, so any more details you can provide about this would be helpful in us solving it promptly/correctly.
