Hey Fozzy - HEM has stopped importing hands for betfair 2, please can you help? Thanks in advance.

It is a hidden/protected folder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...es+in+Windows+

If your windows is not fully updated the client may not be able to write the hand history files due to permissions issues.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found', including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

I have tried all of the above and it still isn't working. It isn't just the HUD, I cant seem to import any hands either. I have uninstalled and re-installed betfair - where should the HHs be saving?

The purpose of the pre-fetch is to display the HUD before you play and not to import hands. Only hands you play on Stars are imported - observed hands are not imported as this is against many sites terms and conditions.

On W7/Vista this will be;

C:\Users\Username\P5JavaClientSettings\

Note: This Vista and Windows 7 folder is hidden by default. You need to make sure Windows is showing Hidden Files.

or on XP;

C:\Documents and settings\UserName\P5JavaClientsettings\handhistory

Thanks Fozzy, importing HHs now.

Another betfair question: As it does not have small seated tables (eg. specific HU tables) How do you configure the HUD to show HU stats on the smaller tables?

For some reason HEM missed some hands in a SNG I played on Merge, any idea how to get that HH?

Also HEM takes my HHs out of the sites folder, how do I get it just to copy them instead so I have 1 copy in the site's folder and 1 in the archive?

I don't know if this problem already appeared before but wouldn't like to read over 1000 pages..
So, HEM imported some tourney hands in cash game section so is it possible to transfer these hands in tourney section and what should I do that this won't happen in future ? I was playing on entraction.

Every table basically is 10max. So setup the seating preferences for 10max.
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...eferredSeating

Rightclick on the table in TableManager and manually assign a HUD configuration when you're playing HU.

Or... if you only play HU, go to hud options--> player preferences--> use for tab and assign your HU HUD configuration to Ongame FR (full ring)

No, this currently isn't possible. Adding this feature (along for the option to filter for Fifty50, DoN, Shootout, Knockout, etc. is something we're working on)

Check the archive folder, C:/HMArchive if the missing hands were written to the handhistory file. (if they are, reimport the file into a new database)

It's not possible for the archiving to copy files. It's essential the files are moved to the archive folder, otherwise too many files will be in the import folder. And the HoldemManager import will take up too much resources going over ALL those files to see which have been updated.

I have no ETA for support of that network at this time. It is on the list but I am not sure of the priority currently.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

If the problems persist:

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If the problems are still not resolved, Please email support@holdemmanager.com, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer. Please let us know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

Trying to get HEM for free through the promotion on their website. Unfortunately, I wont be able to get the promo through PS since I already have an account with them. My other options are Titan, Party Poker and Everest (for a $100 credit). I have never played on either of these sites and just wanted some feedback on which site would be better to play on. I guess I'm looking for the site that has the most traffic, weakest players, etc. Thanks in advanced for any responses

I recently got a lot of issues with HEM and I was advised to capture all screen and send them to HEM support.

On my second thought, I would like to do a fresh installation so I removed HEM, posgresql and deleted every thing, but I forget where to the whole installation package (match the version) for both HEM and postgresql because i has been doing patch updates for all these years. Could you send me a link for both HEM and postgreSQL fresh install?

Thanks

ICM / EV on Stars hypers is broken, please fix.

More annoying, it records a phantom payout for 3rd in the 6max games, despite importing summaries. you have to troll through a ton of results of you bubbling, editing them all one at a time to zero, very tedious

Im having trouble with HEM on carbon:

Pre bf, I was on carbon and HEM worked perfectly. I took a break and recently havent been able to get it up and running.

I dl'd most recent HEM update.

Table finder shows running tables with boxes checked.

When I pull up table lobby, my hud pops up on the lobby but not the table (hands also update on lobby hud).

I have tried to relaunch hud after few hands to no avail.

Thx for any suggestions

HUD on the lobby is an old bug.

Restart your computer and update again.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+-+Backup+Tips

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ender+Problems

If your windows user name has any unique 'cyrillic characters' you will need to create a new windows user and install postgresql under that user. Then you can delete the windows user once it is working.

Create a new windows user in the Control Panel > User Accounts. Make sure it is an Administrator account and name it 'temporary'.

Log in to the new 'temporary' windows user account, and install postgresql using our combo installer:

*Please update to the latest version - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe

Once PostgreSQL has been installed successfully you can switch back to your normal windows user account and delete the 'temporary' user from the Control Panel > User Accounts.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator
net user postgres /delete
4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.3.9 from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...3.9-v1.0.7.exe

Install it to a new path such as C:\PostgreSQL\8.3 instead of the default installation path.

Any HM wizards out there?

I am trying to filter for hands where someone else raised with 100bb+ stack and someone called with 40bb or less and then it's for me to act.

Or a 40bb or less raises and a 100+bb stack calls.

I am looking at HEM filters and I can't figure out how to filter for stacks on different players.

Sorry, but this is a very rare SNGW specific issue, and I don't know of any other solutions. Reinstalling and deleting that \inthemoney folder should solve it again. Once you reinstall please try upgrading to our latest beta version which has the new SNGW update included. Hopefully that will help to prevent it in the future.

Go to Tourney > Results > Dataview and select the tourney in the upper window. The last 100 hands will be displayed in the bottom window for that tourney. Select [x] All to see all the hands from that game.

They are sorted by time, with the last hand of the game at the top of the list. If you wanted to replay a tourney from start to finish you would click the Time column heading twice to resort them in chronological order. Right click any hand in the list and choose Replay All Hands.

I know it works from PS to HEM. Any tweak to realize that?

While playing the PS notes are much easier to handle as you have them all in one window. using HEm its one window for each player.
On the other site reviewing your hands in HEM and making notes in hem after the session is easier..

If there is a way to do it manually it would also be ok
