Ohhhh okay. I was playing a Multi entry tournament and was like hmm... not working.

When will it work for multi entry, if ever? As far as I know pretty much all the FTOPS events are multi entry.....

They are trying to fix like 10 things at once. It would be nice if they just released a small patch everytime something is fixed, rather then holding off till everything is fixed at once. Anyway he said a few days till the patch is ready.

when I go 2 Ipoker I have set my seat as seat auto centre and on HEM as seat3

yet when i play more then two tables the stats are in the wrong place, when I change it on 1 table it then changes other table and is messing everything up.

Does anyone know how to fix this, I mean I been on the HEM site and they tell me too

Stole this from BG1's thread because Im having the exact same problem. I save layout at 1 table, open another table and the HUD will be aligned to the wrong seat, try to move it and it moves it on my original table which was already correct.

Is it possible to setup two different player names in HEM? Basically I want the cash games to display results for my Stars account, and Sng results to be set as my Full Tilt user name. Whenever I switch one it affects both.

my hud on stars doesnt work correctly anymore. On some tables the names will be overlayed next to different names. everything else works fine accept the placement. And i cant just move them because its different for all the tables. there a way to fix this? thanks.

Same problem here. It used to work but yesterday I didn´t have any info on any of the players on my tables. I have 1k+ hands on many of them. I have version 1.11.05e and I play at Boss.

Important Note: Seating preference only works after we sit down and play a couple of hands not straight away, it does not work while we are observing tables so never move the stats box into their positions while observing or if youve played less than 3 hands. The first time you setup seating preferences just open 1 table, play a couple of hands and move all the stats boxes on that table to the correct places, then open a 2nd table, wait for 3-4 hands and the hands should line up fine then.

The biggest mistake people make is to start moving the boxes too soon without allowing time for a couple of hands to import because they dont line up until a couple of hands have imported. Also if your having issues with preferred seating make sure WYSIWYG is ticked in Hud Options / Table Preferences

No, you will need to change each time you change tabs. If you only play cash on one site, and tourneys on the other, an Alias should do what you want.

The 'Player Alias' option is to connect 2 different poker site names together, under a new, unique Alias name. Before you can create an alias you want to be sure you can find your various site names. The 'Hero Names' option is to help the HUD know where you are sitting at the table.

What you are describing is possibly happening because you long ago rearranged the HUD before setting your preferred seating properly. When you use a preferred seat and sit down at a cash table and get hud stats before playing, and then move the HUD panels before HM has imported your own hand, they will be messed back up as soon as HM imports your first played hand and repositions the HUD panels.

You need to make sure to not move anyone's HUD that appears to be incorrect, until you can see your own Hero stats. You cna also use the HUD Options > Table Preferences > Mucked Card and Alignment Edit Mode to help align the stats and mucked cards.


Set the preferred seating for Stars in the poker client, then in Holdem Manager to match. HUD Options > Preferred Seating

Close HM and the Table Manager


Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.

\Holdem Manager\Importing\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt need to be deleted.

Start HM - Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and start stars and open 1 cash table.

After a couple hands it will pre-fetch some observed hands to show the HUD.

Use Ctrl+Right-Click+Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk). Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position the sub-panels for each player. Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.

Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play. If the HUD pops up while waiting for the big blind, do not move any hud panels. Once HM imports your first played hand it will spin the HUD to correct for the auto-center feature.

You are talking about the Players Analysis window in the Players tab?? Or are you referring to the HUD? It sounded like you could be referring to the HUD, instead of the Player Analysis window, so I want to be sure.

What do you see on the HUD Options > Launch Active Player Details Window when playing?

Visual Basic c+++ R6002 floating point error, i get this everytime i launch my Holdem manager importer, just before the hud pops up this comes and the hud does not launch, everything else works fine

I got my HUD working perfectly on merge but when I was playing on FTP the player to my left never updated stats. It also never showed my stats.

I would need to close table and reopen to update the hud. It updated automatically for everyone else just not the player on my left, so every 50 hands I would have to close and reopen the table(pain in the balls)

Weird how it never showed my stats either.

Is there a fix for this?

I just sent an email expressing my outrage that the HUD has now stoped working altogether in FTP METs. I could deal with the annoyances caused by the 6-max tournaments and not having hero stats/double click for today's stats functionality for villains, but waking up today to play most hectic schedule in FTP history and not having any HUD functionality is beyond infuriating. I cannot understand how you guys dropped the ball on this one.

Hi Fozzy,

I set up a new database and almost everything is working now. One small problem and one question:

The question: Does "Optomize" replace "Vacuum and Analyze"?

The problem: None of my bounties from PokerStars knockout SNGs are being counted. I have found no errors in any of my other tournaments in the last week. Yesterday I played a set of knockout tournaments, recieving 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 bounties in different tournaments. None of the bounties showed under Tourney/Results/Data View, just the standard SNG payouts for finishing in the top 3.

Since this happens in every knockout tournament, and none of my other tournaments, I'm guessing that this is a problem related to how PokerStars writes the history for KO tournaments.

6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

The only thing I would guess would be a corrupt HUD preferences or positions file.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

1) Export any custom HUD configs and Copy/Paste your \Config folder before deleting any files as a backup.
2) Close HM and the Table Manager.
3) Delete your existing HUD Prefs files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
4) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml, pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt and exenames.txt
5) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

I am sorry for your inconvenience but our team of developers has been working on this for a couple of weeks since all these new game types were released. There is nothing else I can say, except you are one of very few that the HUD worked briefly for at all.

Yes. I believe you have to record all rebuys, bounties, and knockouts manually. I don't think that stars writes enough details in their summary files for us to figure it automatically.

22m hands? Performance may be an issue with such a large database, or your database could simply be corrupt/damaged.

I would suggest you do the majority of the things in this thread: http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=11194

Some of the most important things, imo:

- Remove the WinnerName, WinnerCards and WinnerWon from the Options > Hands View Column Selection.
- Turning off logging and deleting existing logs
- Vacuum/Full/Analyze, then Reindex - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...tabase+#manual
- Defrag last and make sure you stop the postgresql service before you defrag. I personally use Smart Defrag.
- Do a Cold Boot (Shut Down > Start) before you use HM again


If none of that helps, try reproducing the problem in a new/smaller database:

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.

I am getting a error message anytime I try to get and information from cash games. Everything for the tourneys works fine but for cash I get error 42P01 and nothing works. Can I get some help fixing this problem?

In the "Hands" or "Sessions," or "Tournament Data View" tabs, how do I select multiple hands? Is there an easy way to select all hands?

I'm asking b/c I marked a number of hands for review in sngwiz, but I don't want to have to click "Analyze Hand(s) in SitNGo Wizard" for every single hand to review them.

i have hem on my desktop computer but havent used it in almost a year because something went wrong with it and i didnt feel like trying to figure it out, i am trying to log on to your website to dl it for my laptop now but every time i try it says i can do it or its not a recognized email and when i try the password reset it doesnt work either and i know i am using the right email address because i get ads from yall all the time. is there somewhere else i can contact since i havent gotten an email back in over a week
