simply meant that SOA is in the second group of pretty damn good TV along with dexter, sopranos etc... dexter might not be better but certainly was more entertaining to me than sopranos, deadwood, rome, or breaking bad.

The new Sherlock Holmes reimagining (set in the present) from the BBC called "Sherlock" is really, really good - The pilot is just spectacular. The second episode doesn't quite live up but is still very solid.

Just watched the first two sherlock episodes. Good show, should be entertaining. It kind of reminds of watching the very first couple episodes of CSI when it first came out.

Watched the first 10 episodes, thought it was ok. It tries to be the office only then with families. If you hate/dislike the office chances are you're not gonna like modern family.

it's moderately funny, but extremely straight forward TV sitcom, which is why it half-bores me. still worth watching though, just don't expect it to be top tier like curb/arrested development/always sunny/etc.

i think its really good, but hearing casual tv fans say how good it was simply bc of

dexter is sick awesome. the whole theme of the show is great. its certainly not the most well acted best written shows but it is certainly one of the most entertaining.

I've watched seasons 1 and 2 of Dexter when they aired and never got into season 3. Is it safe to skip 3 and watch 4? I <3 John Lithgow in villain roles.

go ahead and watch s3. I watched them out of order too (1,2,4,3) and you don't lose much by skipping it. It is probably the worst season, but I still enjoyed it.

S3 is by far the worst, I Don't think you'll miss much by skipping.

Just started watching Lie to me, It's actually got me into studying micro expressions lol.
