I loved the theme and opening credit montage in season one. This one does nothing for me at the moment.

McGill has been a regular on Rizzoli & Isles for about 6 seasons, but it appears he has a non-exclusive contract.

I was thinking about this, and the only name that comes to mind is Christian Bale.

Just caught up on the show but gave up reading through the thread. Thought the show was decent, definitely not as mind blowing as S1E01 but still good.

I'm really not sure yet which way it's going to go, I can see it getting great, I can see it going to ****, but at the moment my money's on it playing out like a standard cop thriller movie, worth the watch but still thoroughly underwhelming.

Has anyone discussed yet that the kid isn't his? The lawyer woman mentions he was born 9 months after the rape then in the next scene we see VV's right hand man as a bartender with bright red hair.

(Sorry if this has been mentioned - like I said, I gave up on the thread when it became a debate on whether or not the dad phoned the police - something we're sure to find out soon anyway)

the first 30 mins were laughably bad

paper mache

couldn't figure out who the psychiatrist was... looked so familiar.. it was rick springfield

and they shoot the best part of the show lolz

that escalated quickly...

rachel mcadam's character & perf is the best part of this show, so not gonna be too broken hearted if vinci's finest gets the heave-ho

the cartoonishly corrupt vinci PD is really terrible, so much overacting from the police chief especially

and vince vaugh seems like he is out of his depth, although the writing isn't helping. the nibbling rats thing was stupid.

Basically a huge parody of itself for most of the show

really confused why they hired justin lin

everything he has made sucks

edit: oh nice, next week's episode is by the guy who directed Armadillo, which was a pretty damn good soldiers-in-Iraq documentary

I basically feel like they're taking the good scenes of last season and trying to make every single scene like those scenes.

I feel bad for Vince Vaughn. He's trying really hard, but this just isn't his character.

And Riggins seems to be playing gay guys a lot lately.

I'm pretty confused at how I feel about this show. The ending was wtf. I'm not gonna pretend I'm gonna stop watching but the show feels really forced and unnatural or something.

I think it's just bad writing tho. I feel like the 4 main actors are fine and if given proper material it wouldn't feel as awkward.

Yes, and he's actually a good actor. But there's always an element of humor, and that scene where he confronts the dude that just got the beat down was supposed to be that imo. But didn't work.

The casting of the secondary parts is also bizarre. Was that Abigail Spencer as Colin Farrell's ex? I know it's supposed to show how great his past life was, but jesus, nobody that can go that dark is ever connecting with her. Rust last season varied from flashback to real time, but you could always sense how his progression happened.

And the girl who played the cop on Nightcrawler, and the cop in Shameless, and the cop in Ray Donovan, really has to play the cop here?
