I just don't think the obvious names of Sandra, Cirie, Parvati, Tony and Boston Rob are well rounded enough at all three facets of the game to have them close to my top 5
This is an interesting list of men because it seems like you chose the most sedate, possibly boring male winners ever. I understand the logic but I think it's almost insane to not put Tony on the list, despite how frenetic and chaotic he is. He dominated two seasons, one a very strong newbie season and one a season with possibly the toughest competition ever. I get that he could flameout in a lot of seasons, but he's incredibly smart strategically if you listen to any interviews, very charismatic, pretty good at challenges and he's constantly moving. The guy always knows when to take action and is very ruthless. I could well believe Tommy and Earl being up there among the best I feel like they're close analogues to Kim but just worse than her, but I also think their reputation is helped by only having seen them play once. Wendell would probably be on this list also if he didn't come back and we saw a totally different side to him. I don't really buy that Ethan or Aras are great strategic thinkers or proactive enough to win to beat that. Yul is pretty great though and we were robbed of seeing him in the post-merge of WAW.

For me Men would go:

1. Tony Vlachos
2. Yul Kwon
3. Malcolm Freberg
4. Tommy Sheehan
5. Jeremy Collins?

But my list would probably change day to day depending on who I remember to put on it.

Wow, I think the editors laid it on far too thick with the flash forward but otherwise GG. I never would have had Kaleb as the boot heading into this

In retrospect he really played himself out of the game

So the ‘new era’ of survivor has girl alliances just like old school did. So stunning….so brave

Doubt it will last, don't understand why you'd get so irritated by the mention of it. Goes both ways - usually when it's the men they just say "the big threats" and are less explicit about it.

Its funny his decision to tell Katurah about Bruce's idol so she would trust them cost them her trust. But still, she's kinda crazy for thinking she can trust or be positioned well within those reds.

I guess that was AI? Yeah they wouldn't have shown that if it went that way, weird

I think both boots were the wrong decision

Kelley Wentworth said on RHAP that Probst put an end to the auction because people kept holding their money to the end for the advantages.

It’ll be interesting to see what changes are made.

I think it's a bad move by Katurah, but not fatal I guess it comes down to is she willing to actually draw rocks for Kaleb, I think Austin would have flipped but it's definitely a big gamble.

But love that the editors let me down like this. I was expecting a plucky underdog run by Kaleb and then he's just booted like that. Clearly not a great or even good player, but someone I'd hope to see on a proper 39 day season of Survivor.

Season is ... good. I again just wish we had 90 minute episodes for a more insane season like Winners at war.

Last two Auctions were the one where Spencer and Tony had to draw rocks for an advantage and Mike destroyed his game so they were entertaining enough, not sure why it's been this long since they've done it.

I would love to see an All-Star season with 90 minute eps. No way they won't do something like that for season 50.

Dee, Kellie, and Austin are kind of the only three left I hope win. Everyone else has turned to meh.

Flash Forward - meh, they tried something.

Also, where's production rigging things now?

The best part was

"I hope I'm not falling into the survivor trap of being too emotional"

immediately makes emotion based terrible decision

Two very predictable boots for me. I never thought Sifu was making out of this week with his minimal edit and on the other side thought it would either be the culmination of the Kartruah vs Bruce war or a Kaleb boot. As soon as I saw K&B split up I felt Kalebs goose was cooked

A little bit of jostling in my middle fodder but otherwise my power rankings are largely unchanged.

Contenders
1. Dee =
2. Kellie =
3. Emily =

Middle fodder
4. Jake +2
5. Drew +2
6 . Julie -2
7. Austain -1
8. Kendra

Depends who wins the war but let's be real youre both cooked

9= Bruce & Katurah

Out
Sifi (12/12 last week)
Kaleb (9/12 last week)

I'm dropping Dee to the middle of the rankings based on the last challenge. She is going to be seen as a threat and have people coming after her.

Dee's technique in the immunity challenge seemed quite unorthodox.

Seems like every other winner has just wedged their toes into the crevices to hold their weight up. Tiny toes FTW. It didn't seem like she used them at all.

i really dont like dee. 0 self awareness.... she kept going off about how caleb betrayed her last week. the whole time she was the one who was plotting to vote him off, and everyone voted for caleb, but she was the one who was betrayed lol
