Yeah, as far as I know, after Jeff asks if anyone has an idol/advantage they want to play, once he says "alright, I'll read the votes," any advantages or idols a player has cannot be transferred until after tribal council has concluded.
There's been a few interviews with Probst on this subject.

"Once the reading of the votes begins, that's it. That's why I say, 'If anyone has an idol or an advantage and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.' That's your window. After that, you are basically handcuffed from doing anything other than hoping it's not you."

I suspect you're being facetious, but I have to admit it did cross my mind as well after the third vote was read.

I didnt notice if Jeff mentioned jury. You just cant have the first few jurors be minorities again

So, are Cody, Gabler, and Sami the only people we can vote out of the game at this point. Nevermind, Sami's dad was an immigrant from Morocco, so he's out. Just Cody and Gabler?

"Once you're voted out, you're out of the game and any advantage or idols in your possession lose all their power. You must turn all unplayed idols or advantages over to us"

Thought people got to at least bring them home as souvenirs.

Also don't like how the article refers to temporarily transferred. The idol was fully transferred to Dwight to do with it whatever he wanted. There's nothing temporary about it unless Dwight decides.

Dwight mentioned on his exit speech. He's the last non-juror and was bummed about that.

Think Gabler safe too since has a lot of veteran friends, a la Ben. Cody the only non woke target.

Are there any rules that say an idol can not be transferred to another player once votes are being read?

Why would he not just give it back to Jeanine at the last second before reading of the votes begins? The whole point is that they don't want James to ask Jeanine "do you have an idol?". Once it's clear he's not asking that, you just quickly slip it back to Jeanine and the reading of the vote officially starts.

Obv he had no clue there was any chance he'd be voted out.

If he thought he was going to be voted out he just plays it for himself lol

After the votes were read, did it look like Jeanine was holding her hand behind her/toward Dwight? I guess either giving sympathy or hoping he handed her the idol back?

She 100% was trying to get a handoff. I think we all would

Well she didn't know / forgot the rules if that's the case

Even if she can just get a powerless trinket back, it’s worth trying.

She also wants to be able to tell people she gave Dwight her idol. “You saw me reaching for it”

I enjoyed that. And laughed at how Jeanine mentioned in the exit interview Dwight leaving with her idol.

In a game full of known advantages, having an idol that everyone thinks was burned is huge. Also, I don't recall there being further mention of Jesse also holding Cody's idol after that scene.

Sad to see Jeanine go over Ryan but an interesting rogue vote by Cassidy following the scene about the women with James and Carla. Could well be good content for a Carla win

My updated power rankings

10) Gabler (+1)
9) Ryan (=)
8) Noelle (=)
7) James (-2)
6) Jesse (=)
5) Carla (+2)
4) Owen (=)
3) Cody (=)
2) Sammie (=)
1) Cassidy (=)

Can you explain your power rankings? Becuase Owen and Sammi over Carla and Jesse is wild.

60-70% the edit
30-40% game positioning

Carla has been giving me the Ricard/Omar vibes all season, as in the 'obstacle' that the winner will take out to win the game, rather than being the winner themselves.

However this was the first episode I started to feel like Jesse may be that role rather than Carla, hence her +2 boost

Cody asks for idol back, Jesse gives him wrong one. Spot blows up. That's my prediction.
