Also, Ronnie should feel lucky to be on season 2 for free. The cast members aren't of equal value and if The Situation and Pauly D take the same money as Ronnie they are ******ed (well obv they are). They probably have agents by now though.

Supposedly MTV is saying they'll replace anyone who doesn't agree to their deal by close of business tomorrow (today technically).

I hope these guys have good agents. MTV is 100% bluffing because this show is a goldmine and there's no way they aren't willing to shell out some cash to get Pauly D and The Situation involved.

This may be a stupid question, but does MTV in any way "own" any sort of piece of their characters, or could they get picked up by another network for say the Pauly D & Situation show? I just can't really remember any reality tv star leveraging their celebrity to a show on another network.

They aren't fictional characters, so there's no copyright for MTV to own.

Ronnie is probably going to be worthless next season. The only good thing he did was get in fights, which probably won't happen again with the amount of security they will have.

This show has forever scarred my day-to-day vocabulary. Seriously, this show is the best reality show I've ever seen. Situation is so about himself that it's... acceptable to me lol. I listened to BS Report podcast, Situation apparently visited SportsNation said and they all said he's the nicest guy. (lol)

I'm a big fan of Vinny... he seems like the only person the Jersey Shore that isn't like completely guido, seems like a somewhat normal person (whatever that means after this show...)

I hate how Ronnie "pushing" Sammie is even like a discussion. He didn't maliciously push her, and she is the stupid idiot that imo instigated the fight on the boardwalk. She did it several times, start **** and Ronnie blows up, then acts as if she's the victim. I ****ing hate you Sammie.

Snooki is disgusting, but shes pretty entertaining. Especially her making out with Situation @ the end... standard.

I can't see a second season being anywhere as close to entertaining. Watching the Situation continually striking out, Snickers getting punched, etc....these things will not happen in the second season. Not to mention the Jersey Shore/clubs will be packed with people who want to see them, and pics/video will continually be leaked over the summer during filming.

Not to mention they will not be themselves, just caricatures of what they think people want to see.
