Ronnie dumping her after having a supposedly amazing relationship for months now would seem very irrational under such circumstances, even for a raging meat head like himself. Also, he came across as an emotional guy throughout the entire series but seemed to be perfectly fine and laughed it up with everyone else immediately after. Definitely very fishy.

naw, the after show seemed legit to me, I don't think ronnie and sammie are good enough of actors to be able to let off that type of emotion in their voices while trying to pretend to be unaffected.. for example when Ronnie said he's going to go out in LA and find him a chick that night Sammi almost had a mini heart attack and had to breathe in deep to try to control herself from just bursting in tears. ronnie even sounded like he was kinda holding back while talking to.

certainly was surprised that MTV did this at a reunion -- they definitely went out of their way to try to build up drama and suspense, but i did find it kind of interesting that it seemed like Sammi did appear to know what was coming. the clip they showed though wasn't even that eventful though, all it showed was that sammi is two faced and will pretend to be nice to you one second and talk about you behind your back the next. or not that she was necessarily being two faced since she def had no problem talking **** ot mike in his face but just that these people have very shifty personalities and will go from liking you one moment to not liking you the next.

That's how everyone on the entire show seemed to be though. The girls all talking **** about angelina when she got kicked off the show, angelina talking about sammi's nasty hair extensions, the guys all hating on each other and having tension one minute and seeming like boys the next. I still can't even tell if vinny or ronnie are genuinely cool with situation, they seem like boys one moment then having a lot of tension the next.

like during the after show and on the show when ronnie is talking about how situation never had a chance with sammi and how all mike brings home are ugly chicks etc etc.. if they were actually cool with each other I can't imagine two friends talking **** on that level in that sort of tone. mike trying to creep on ronnie's gf and "commit the double robbery" and flirt with ronnie's girl... that seems to go past the point of playful **** talking that guys do.

mike/situation - actually does have more game than the others on the show it seems like, but then again when you're ripped up and tanned like him you don't really need to have that much game, especially with tv cameras following you around and girls knowing you're going to be a possible celebrity. also, the girls they were bringing home that were 'trash' I seriously doubt was a testament of his game lacking but moreso a testament to the lack of hot girls in jersey shore to begin with. not like it would be hard for a dude with his game, body and tv cameras following him around to pull the hottest girl in that ****h*le seaside.

pauly d - at first i didnt like him as much cuz he just seemed like a follower and kinda passive but the night that he was winging for the situation and ditched the grenade was great. also his facial expression while talking about how he just wanted that girl to "stfu ur ugly" was great too.. he looked at her like his stomach was curling:

love how he was talking about "It's not supposed to take this long to close a girl, you do dancing, you do jacuzzi, you do bedroom and knock it out, that's it, done deal".

vinny - only thing i didnt really like about him was his hating on mike and trying to pretend as though he had game when i think it was clear that he didnt really have any game or as much personality as the others. the only girls he really got anywhere with was mikes girlfirend who mike introduced him to and then he got his other girl taken from him by mike. he definitely seemed the most normal and level headed but the hating he was doing on mike seemed lame to me.. him talking about "how's my d*ck taste bro?" to save face or talking about "that's not what your sister thinks".

ronnie - he started off as a cool dude that was the voice of reason in the beginning and then when he started talking about "dipping into your koolaid" brother and being all pussy whipped with sammi it just seemed too weak and in congruent with the person u'd think he is. he talked **** to mike about stealing sam but then on the other hand admits that he didnt even know she liked him and she came up to him and chose him. all the sh*t he talked to mike about how mike still hasn't brought home a decent girl was nonsense, there were a few girls that looked good and sammi isnt the "10/10" dime he thinks she is. even vinny on the first day of the recordings said when he first saw sam that she wasnt as hot as u'd expect an MTV girl to be. he came across as a pussy whipped bitch that had never gotten laid much before which was really awkward for a dude that looks like him.

on a side note though does anyone else think Sammi actually pulled off a well laid out and calculated play on mike? the night that he was in the hot tub with those other girls she was all talking about how "no no no F the situation, you can go do anything you want mike" and she basically felt like she was being played, but i think he was smart about it. if she had just at that point decided to stop talking to him immediately and go talk to another guy then it just looks as though she's doing it in reaction to what mike did which just makes it look like mike played her and would make her look like a fool on TV. woulda just looked like "Sam likes Mike, Mike makes out with other girls in Jacuzzi, so Sam talks to other guys in response, she got played".

so instead, the next day at work she goes back to being all lovey dovey with mike and sweet talking him telling him theres some attraction there, only to THEN go move onto ronnie after she had just made out with him. in the latter scenario it makes it look like she had mike if she wanted him and then just played him, whereas in the first scenario if she does it immediately it looks like she just got played by the situation. she seemed to really care about looking like a fool on TV and getting embarrassed so it wouldn't surprise me if she just leveled mike and planned it out specifically to look like that on tv

Well I thought it even sounded like they were acting but it was more than that. The fact that the host was throwing to the clip and then acted like she noticed sammie was upset seemed staged. I feel like if she was actually just going to cut to the clip it would have just happened. There wouldn't have been this delay for her to notice sammi, comment on it, and then start questioning her. There was also no reason for her to even know what the clip was especially considering it was such a minor incident. They lived in the house for over a month but only showed maybe five total hours of footage. There's a ton of stuff they didn't show so it could have been anything. Then the whole walking to the bathroom bit didn't seem real. When sammi was coming out of the bathroom, the host mysteriously knew sammi was coming out before she started to come out. It was as if it was sammi's cue to come back to the set.

Blah with that last emo episode. Reunion made up for it imo. I thought we were gonna get to see Ronnie cry (again!). Close enough though.

I'm keepin my fingers crossed to see what happens in season 2.

Over/under amount of people dressed up as guidos next year at Halloween? I set my line at 23,186.

Halloween is a little bit too far out, so i think the craze will cool down by then, unless season 2 has already started obv, but yeah it should be more than any other year.

Was in a friends car and heard on the radio that MTV and the cast are in talks for season 2, they offered them 5K/episode, they rejected that, now they're offering them 10K/episode....

No idea if this anywhere near the truth, no real source.

10k an episode? Considering it was like what, 10 eps, that's some pretty big lowballing there. Shouldn't they be able to get like $25k-$50k/ep? Not like that can cost a ton of money to make.

7 x 10 x $50K = $3.5 million

That's probably more than the entire first season cost them to produce. While that's doable with the advertising revenue, it's crazy for them to pay that much if they can get the whole cast for under a million.

the girls on the hills get 100k+ per ep and jersey shore is getting about twice as many viewers. that 5k offer is such a ****ing joke.

If they bring back this cast for next year I have a feeling it will be a huge failure. The series of events that came together to make this show popular will never be duplicated again.

Just imagine the cast trying to go out in jersey next year....

They are going to act completely different now that they are "stars"

I think they need to transplant them somewhere in Europe where the show isn't as well-known like France or Eastern Europe

I'd also accept Jersey Shore: North Korea

Yeah, he definitely looked heavier. He probably just tries to add weight during the winter and cut for the spring, it's tough to stay lean year round if you try to be a 'gorilla juicehead'.
