Hanna is watchable but not particularly compelling. Would have been a great idea to do a sequel to the movie, not at all a good idea to do a rehash with worse actors with the plot spread over 4x the amount of time.

Has anyone watched the new Twilight Zone series? CBS has put the first episode on youtube for free.

I was a bit disappointed in the episodes theme. It has been done a ton of times and also done better with movies like "Death Note".

It was kind of weird having all the swearing in a Twilight Zone show but whatever.

Do you think starting a thread for YouTube clips is worthwhile? Would it belong in ootv or oot?

Anyone else watching this season of American Idol? There are some astoundingly good singers left...much better than The Voice

Happened to see the S2 trailer for Yellowstone.

It wasn't something that ever came across my radar. Binged through S1 and enjoyed it. Bit melodramatic at times, and worst name ever.

Cowboys / Indians, horses and Montana backdrops. 😊

Our Planet is just amazing.

In the third episode, I loved the bird dances in Borneo the best. Just utterly ridiculous.

Which one has the Walruses? I have to watch it before they take it down for controversy.

They were talking about on TMZ today. An expert said that the walrus fell off the cliff because they are used to being on Icebergs and pushing off to go into water and he was just confused and pushed off.

The similar show with Bear Grylls is pretty good and there was a baby bird tumbling down a mountain, it actually was ok tho.

Posted about it a bit in the netflix thread. Amazing though simultaneously depressing given how quickly this natural beauty is fading.

This.

Amazing footage. Especially when you hear what they go through to get it (e.g. they waited 3 weeks for 20 minutes of footage of the iceberg falling off/flipping).

And those birds are awesome. Things they do for literally 3 seconds of ****ing.

Technology like drones, mini remote cameras, etc, definitely are a massive help to these series.

What's amazing though is the footage is still incredible even in Attenborough's early stuff (he's been making stuff since the beginning of the 50's!). Those cameramen must have been hardcore - hiding out on their own for months in tiny huts just for a few seconds of shot, that may not even happen.
