np

i sprinkled spoiler tags around. i think most everyone has kinda heard what's up with that show, but in a general thread anything remotely spoilerish should be tagged imo

Think I've said it before, but series finale of Six Feet Under remains the only time I've started crying due to a TV show.

Really? I'm sure I've cried, or at least teared up, at a TV show once a week for the last 40 years or so.

I watched Travelers based on recommendations in this thread. I almost always like time travel stuff, so I give it a solid 8/10.

Has anybody watched Frequency?

Quote:
A police detective in 2016 discovers that she is able to speak via a ham radio with her estranged father; Frank Sullivan, a detective who died in 1996 and the two must work together to change the history of tragic events to come while also getting the chance to heal their complicated relationship.
It's based on a 2000 movie that I liked.

Doubt - 1st 5 minutes I could tell it was going to be weak. Watched another 20 minutes and I was right.

Hoping Chicago Justice will be the real deal.

frequency was pretty bad IMO. I watched like 3 episodes before I gave up. But I don't like travelers much either. I watched about 4 episodes and gave up.

Chicago justice I'm really excited about but only because my friend is on it

Am I missing something with the young pope? I watched the pilot and can't imagine watching another episode.

I thought it was great. That being said, I didn't love the pilot but I liked it well enough to keep watching.

Save 9 hours of your life you'll never get back by not watching. It seemed like it had a lot of potential but just never reached it. I watched the whole thing and regret almost all of it. There were several good moments but just not enough to justify watching it all.

i have been enjoying the US version of my kitchen rules. it is obviously a dumb show but good fun. it helps if you are a fan of dice.

Been working in he middle of nowhere for the last week, so caught up on a bunch of stuff.

I thought The Good Place, while not overly amusing, was really solid and well done. Everyone in it was great. Definitely looking forward to S2.

I'm a massive time travel fan so really enjoyed Travelers. Bits of it were a bit silly, and I'm sure there were some gaping holes in their logic (as there normally is in time travel stuff) but, all in all, very enjoyable. I'm really hoping it gets a bit more crazy and trippy now they've laid down the basic premise.

Watched the first one and a half seasons of Vikings. Very well done and good fun to watch. My only niggle is I don't really like, or care about, any of the characters, which may lead to me dropping it prematurely at some point.

I never watched "The Good Wife" but heard it was pretty good, so I watched the last 2 in the series (season 7) to prepare for "The Good Fight" spin off last night, which is pretty good. I will continue that for sure. Not like that horrible Lawyer show "Doubt".

seems like it will lean heavily on all the characters acting as stupid as possible
also kinda over that structure of tossing loads of questions up with answers to come later

though the trailer for the next ep seemed to indicate that business is gonna pick up at least
