Makes no sense to keep the hound around in ep 1 just to get rid of him so soon. Producers already said the duo will be together for a while because of their chemestry.
But yeah, more wall, more stannis, dont really know. The only thing really good would be oberyn imo

Wonder if they'll have the Stone girl in the Vale, probably not.

good observation from the TV thread

The fool being overly concerned for Sansa's life seems like a pretty lame red herring unless there's another explanation for that, I hope there is.
LF will be a hero to the TV crowd...until he starts creeping on Sansa

Also, they are skipping ahead a lot to future books. obviously all the Reek stuff, but also all the Bran stuff is happening very quickly. I like both these changes, and they may kill this thing in 7 seasons after all.

If they tell the story chronologically and do ~1 book per season we should be getting early ADWD stuff right now.

Bran keeps moving north ( I do wonder if they will meet cold hands), hes still got to reach the nightfort
I imagine we are gonna have the battle for castle black too and Stanis will reach the wall.
Also we will have Danny getting to Meereen and Jorah Mormont's expulsion.
Arya with the hound will keep moving,
Sansa goes to the Veil .
So there is a decent amount of **** to happen, also they are pulling ni book 4 with Reek going to the Moat .

Shae could be back ( she does have a part to speak out at the trial of Tyrion)...but Doms right shes not a major enough player anymore to not just be sent away and not killed.
Bronn is so well liked it makes sense to find a part for him in the show and the whole Lolly's side story is boring as **** anyway.

The stone girl...Elyane Stone...aka Sansa...that's a huge plot point I can't see them not doing that.

Being a book reader really gives you perspective on how the crazy internet speculation can take on a life of its own in shows like this, Lost, True Dectective, etc. I mean, post after post debating whether it was the pie or the wine. Poor non book readers are overlooking lots of other great parts of that episode.

I absolutely LOVED the part where Oberyn and Ellaria are walking a few paces behind Tryion and Oberyn says, "Hello!....Not you" as Tryion turns around looking hopeful that the Red Viper wanted to talk to him, only to be crushed as he was instead ogling an acrobat girl with her crotch up in the air.

one weird thing is how urgent the plea from Castle Black was in the finale, and how Stannis apparently listened to it, but he is still just wandering around in Dragonstone.

Who was that kid that was laughing at the dwarves next to Tyrion? Are we supposed to know this guy?

Still get surprised when i see show ramsay. In my head he's like a 6'3 250pound of muscle gordon ramsay (ram's face)

Tomen for sure, They are having a hard time ( similar to lost) with the ageing of characters I mean look at Bran, having him ride around on Hodor's back would be Hysterical...

Yea the TV thread is pretty fun to read with the theory's its amazing how close people get.

The Jamie stuff is funny too where people think he was threatening him instead of offering him a way out with the Kings Guard.

Did they have contracts for bran? I mean theres probably a million acting kid with the same girly haircut he had that could play him. It's non-sense not to think ahead of this when you have a kid about to get into puberty.

Like that's a different actor for Tommen, right? Did they call him by name? Like in new Darrio's first appearance they were all "Hey what's up Daarrio Noharis" like seventeen different times so people like me know it's a new dude.

That's King Tommen, the First of his Name to you peasants. His age makes me think they're going to cut out Ser Pounce who is my favorite character.

it's a different actor - who amazingly enough has already appeared on GOT as a different character!

Not really that hard to figure it out by process of elimination - who else would be sitting at the head table? And also, he looks exactly like Joffrey.

Be hard to replace such a Major character like that, I mean they did with Darrio and look at the big stink people are making ..
Tomen had such a small showing in the previous seasons that replacing him no one is noticing. Plus they are advancing his age some it seems to keep up with the other "kids"

honestly killa as a huge spoiler nit I think what you just said in the other thread was too much. chiming in with your opinions even without a link (some of your opinions are dumb) is exactly what people in that thread don't want to hear.

just say "I'm a bookreader and will be deleting spoilers" and leave it at that, no need for you to add in your opinions

ya think I thought I did pretty good ok
To my defense I've always been this way like with Lost and people and there stupid theory's.

And Bronn subbing for Illyn Payme is classic adaptation "combining of characters." In a show with way too many characters to keep track off in the first place, it's obviously the smart thing to do.
I expect Shae to be back for the trial. And she'll have the motivation of a spurned lover rather than someone who simply played Tyrion when she got a better offer.

I've got no problem with no Ilyn. Anything that gets us more Bronn is good with me.

pretty sure it's clear Bronn turns full heel now, we *know* Shae is not on the ship so why would Bronn lie about that? alternative explanations are that he did a half ass job of taking her to the ship and lied about that (but that doesn't fit his character) or that Shae jumped ship and swam back to shore. or I guess that Cersei had someone on the boat to bring her back?

but the simplest explanation is simply that somebody got to Bronn and the sellsword took the $$$$. just like in the book, but earlier, and a bit worse as iirc in the book Bronn didn't have a great choice - either fight the Mountain or take the $$$ from Cersei

(technically we don't know she's not on the ship but I think it's 95% she isn't)

For the show purpose it makes sense , people want him around but he needs to be "that scumbag" for it to work imo.
