With the way Lady died I've always wondered if Sansa will die as a result of something that really isn't her fault. But then again that seems too obvious for GRRM so idk.

Still no idea about GW. but considering GW could still be alive (with an added bonus that Robb could have warged into him), there is still a possibility that we could find out more.
I think it's more likely that Ser Pounce ends up sitting on the iron throne than Rob reappears (in any form). While I strongly disagree with your theory I do think that it illustrates a wider point in fairness....anything can happen.

Yeah nothing terribly groundbreaking, I still find them very entertaining, although honestly I hadn't thought of Shireen being at castle black with Mel in the books & that being part of Jon's resurrection. The path the showrunners took with Stannis would make a lot more sense if this is what happens.

Yeah its pretty meh in terms of actual theorising... I mean a radical theory would be Jon not coming back. Him coming back is level 0 obviousness.

does the sword stay afire all the time? that seems very impractical for the 99% of the time one is not attempting to kill the undead. it would kinda suck when you want to take a nap and you cant figure out where to place your sword so it doesnt burn down everything.

Ha, what a great shop. So yeah, RIP this thread until something happens. Reluctantly this thread will have to be taken off my "check everyday" list until then. This season was fun, GJ gang!

The season 5 poster of the year goes to...by a narrow margin over a couple others..Trueprophet.

CONGRATS!

There is a theory that the sword in the legend was just the first valyrian steel blade, the spells and working it over and over fits, and Nissa Nissa may not be a wife but an (untamed) dragon. Azor Ahai is from essos and only valyrians could forge their steel (using dragons as a missing ingredient). It only burned initially due to the dragons blood combining with the spell steel.

So Jon already has his lightbringer, it is proven effective against walkers (the books basically said it would be).

Dany as Azor definitely feels like a misdirection to me, fwiw.

Is there any reason given or theory as to why Robert Strong is given the name Robert?

Strong's face is hidden behind his greathelm. The obvious reason for this is that we're supposed to believe a reanimated Gregor Clegane is Robert Strong (and it seems certain it's Clegane's body).

However, Dorne did receive a skull approximately the size of Gregor's.

So, in the strange SoFaI world of reanimating the dead, can the head belong to somebody else while the body is still Gregor's?

Robb Stark's head is unaccounted for.

Are the remains of Robert Baratheon accounted for?

My running theory has been that book Robert Strong has no head, and the great helm conceals this fact (and explains why he is never seen without it). Dorne did, in fact, receive Gregor's skull.

Show Robert Strong seems to just be corpse Gregor, since Dorne got no skull, and Doran is utterly useless.

The prevailing theory is that Cersei gave the Dornish one of the dwarf skulls from the many that were brought to her by people who tried to collect the bounty for killing Tyrion.

Since dwarfs have larger than normal heads it makes sense.

I was always under the impression that doran did not receive gregor's head.

Also given that Gregor was heard screaming and stuff, I'm assuming he probably had a head.
