I can see the sand snakes not wanting to be the cause of death of a companion of J.L. if only to help stay alive.

Solid episode all around.

The high Sparrow/Cersei stuff was real good. Everything else awful.

surprised nobody has commented on how refreshing it is that Tyrion meets Dany straight away without any lengthy convoluted plot to get there.

Not sure what the point was of the Bronn poison sequence when it was just going to get reversed. Unless this is going to lead to a longer term romance there (a la Arys Oakheart) which will probably just end with Areo Hotah killing him in similar fashion.

Legit mad about the Sansa sequence - was a completely stupid move by her and her arc is clearly going backwards now. Seems like she's just going to get rescued by Brienne etc while doing nothing for herself.

When I saw the episode title I totally thought Arya was going to give someone the gift, then she didn't even appear in the episode. Lame.

I guess I'm glad they reminded everyone that Ghost exists so that he can be used after the Jon scene that's coming up.

LMAO at Tyrion meeting up with Dany so quickly. Straight trolling book readers with that.

Pretty good ep, having hated (or at least been bored to tears by) most of this season.

I thought the worst scene in terms of vague, irrelevant, uninteresting and contrived plot with no clear coherent motivation for the characters involved (Dorne), was still pretty good because Bronn is just a really fun character. And liked the Sand Snakes for once.

I think the Sand Snakes scene was included for two reasons:

1.) They plan to actually kill off Bronn this season and it was misdirection.
2.) Tits.

- Ramsay: introducing Diet Ramsay--all of the flaying you love, but now with 100% less on-screen rape!

- Sansa: sure, Theon has warned me not to cross Ramsay, and everyone can see what a broken person he is, but I'll probably go ahead and trust him. *Sigh* More disappointing writing for Sansa just when it was looking so promising... her subtle mind-**** of Ramsay wasn't terrible though. If I were Walda, I would avoid any staircases.

- Arya: Probably busy scrubbing floors and dead people. The upside is we don't have to see it this time! Valar ****ing Morghulis.

- Maester Aemon: I've decided to die and add nothing to the conversation. Peace out, Night's Watch homies.

- Stannis: "You know, I'm starting to think that Melisandre might not have my daughter's best interests at heart." [Narrator: "In fact, Melisandre did not have Shireen's best interests at heart."]

- Gilly: hoo boy, getting another very rapey vibe from this scene. Oh whew, Sam McFly is here to save the say! Sort of...

- Sam and Gilly: Move over Jaime and Cersei, there are new Masters of [fully-clothed] Sex! I wouldn't let him fall asleep, Gilly. That looked like an NFL-grade concussion.

- Cersei and Olenna meet Pope Francis. Pope Francis decides against the conciliatory course. But it's not like Cersei could have seen this coming. I mean, it's not like she knew someone in the organization of dangerous fanatics had a ****-ton of dirt on her. I mean, that would just be sloppy. Diana Rigg and Jonathan Pryce fill the classically-trained British actor void left by Charles Dance admirably.

- Littlefinger: "Pope Francis shut down my porn site. Please support my Kickstarter."

- Daenerys: evidently sexposition is back in full swing. And yet it's still not concealing what is either Emilia Clarke's wretched acting or David and Dan's hackneyed writing. But d-bag Daenerys, who recently crucified over 100 people and burned another alive, still finds time to be offended by blood sport. Cue the meme machine!

- Bronn and the Sand Snakes: we couldn't decide how to resolve this situation, so we just decided to remake the opening scene of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom... with tits. "What's that?" "Antidote." "To what?" "The poison you just drank [got cut with]! The poison works fast [slow], Dr. Jones [Bronn]." But with boobs!

- Jorah and Tyrion: we couldn't decide how to resolve this situation, so we just decided to remake a scene from Gladiator. "I am Jorahmus Decimus Mormontius, and I will not be friend-zoned. In this season or the next."

- Margaery in jail: we couldn't decide how to make this more awkward for Cersei, so we just decided to remake a scene from the Tudors that you were also in.

I actually didn't like the QoT vs sparrow scene. Total nittery here, but QoT would have been smart enough to not try to bribe him, clearly the man doesn't want money. "What happens when we don't ship grain?" He's not Cersei, try another tactic. She's the smartest woman in Westeros, she shouldn't be stumbling that hard.

A+ review by TurnProphet.

Dany was cold hearted with Ser Jorah. And that fight scene was bad ass. He has excellent skills. Took out six guys without killing them.

Glad the Sand Snakes are good for something. Bronn is definitely gonna **** her.

no one seems to mention the most tilting thing about the ep. when stannis and mel mention the leeches, they completely ignored balon. if they wanted to revisit that plot later on, they would have mentioned balon now.

Are we sure it was Lancel and not Aegon? The show gave us an old man repeating the name over and over, thats a pretty strong clue right?
