When I saw a good chunk of time after the jordan chase thing was wrapped up I was hoping that the rest of the time would be devoted to quinn stuff or something else not wasted on the dexter/lumen crap.

Agreed.. in my opinion 2 > 1 >> 4 > 3 >>> 5

the entire season felt like filler. WTF it feels strange recommending only season 1 and 2 of Dexter to friends.

I hope Stiles is gone for good, her acting was about as bad as Astor's.

I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Laguerta being the commanding officer and neither one of them wanting the other to transfer to a different department. An-hel and Laguerta then lied about the relationship being over, which is what they were going to get in trouble for.

Dexter told Harry to trust him, that he had a plan. His plan was to get caught, and he had already stashed the knife, as ridiculous as it sounds.

I don't know which was worse: the dialogue or the story. The entire episode was complete garbage from start to finish, and the worst part was the writers rubbing our noses in it by teasing that Deb would discover them. Just awful.

Season 6 - I just want to see Dexter go head to head with a super crazy killer who wants to play a bunch of mind games with him.

Sounds like season 1 right? Well the writers have shown that they don't have any new material and are happy to repeat story-lines, why the hell not?

I was hoping Lumen would stay around for next season. It's not like Stiles is a movie star these days so it probably would have been a pretty good gig for her, and it would have taken the show in an interesting direction.

Not one of the better seasons but still better than 3 imo.

Hoping 6th season is the last. Not because I don't like Dexter anymore, but because I've come to the realization that there are no more storyline to develop unless Dexter finally gets caught or Deb eventually finds out.

Lol Jordan Chase.. I'll just turn my back to you and look at your weapons while you... oh wait, one is missing! nooooooooo! He may as well have pulled a string to switch a light on and been hit in the face with an iron.

The only good thing that came of this season was the Quinn - Dexter story line. I kinda like how it ended... "Yeah I'm a dirty cop and I know you killed Liddy, but he was a dick and was f'n with you." and then Dex is all like "NP bro gotta make my sis happy and now we can both be ballin' and not in jail." That is legit to me.

Other than that, by far the worse season. They could've closed some plot holes but they didn't. They could've made a better ending with Jordan Chase but I guess they were stumped on what to do. Deb coming in with this hugely accurate vigilante theory and letting them go after finding them is so out of character.

Would have been a better ending if she found out about Dexter. At least set up a good cliffhanger to make me want to watch S7.

For sure though, Lumen has to die.

And yeah, as has been pointed out the best moment of the ENTIRE season was the knife into the foot.
