wouldn't there be a lot of evidence to suggest that Emily wasn't a recent "barrel girl", like the fact that she's presumably been living a life all this time, and people might be able to account for her not being missing during the time Lumen was captive at Boyd's?

maybe they'll just blow it off totally (like the Santa Muerte/Mierda/whateverthe**** thing), or just say that she's some weirdo shut in with no job, or friends, or contact with anyone really

but then if that is the case, wouldn't you expect that Chase is paying her rent/mortgage, phone, and other bills? wouldn't that be really weird considering that she's supposedly this vigilante killer?

meh whatever, i'm expecting to be really disappointed with how they end this thing. hopefully i'm wrong and will be pleasantly surprised.

honest to god Dexter
Spoiler:
gets in ANOTHER car crash
in the finale. How many times can they go to that well!

I guess no one else is interested, but I was hoping for some explanation on the Emily/Chase relationship.

Not really. When destroying drives we use salt water, time then rivets.

Most drives platters aren't 100 sealed, but generally you remove a sticker first.

Seriously, this is how you Dexter. Just watched all 11 episodes after forcing myself to wait all season. I probably should have held off until Saturday though as now I need to go through the torture of waiting 5 more days for the finale.

Great season, can't wait, and so glad I was able to just skim over all you nits complaining itt instead of having to put up with it all season long. I have a couple minor things to nit about (Dexter not ditching the shoes after the prints were found, just throwing the laptop in the water by the van although they will probably say the saltwater made any data unrecoverable if they find it, etc...)

However, overall it has been a great season and I don't have any major complaints, still one of the best shows on TV by far.

def not as good as ssn 3 and 4, ZOMG those were soo intense.

Dexter's Laboratory was the bomb back in the day.

Since Chase and Dexter are going to have to cross paths at some point, I think there's still a good chance Chase has to answer some questions about his past.

ick..lets just admit it, that if you think too hard about this show it has completely jumped the shark.
I'm really worried this final is going to be a show ender for me. So many bad ways it can go down.

I just pounded out episodes 3-11 and I love this season. The show is fun again, reminding me of S2. What I like about Luben is that it gives Dexter someone to have conversations with where he's not holding anything back. It definitely started off slow but since episode 5 I think its been S1/S2 quality. The Aster episode was great. That creepy cop was great. Jordan Chase is great. I'll be sad if Luben dies, I really enjoy whenever she's on screen. Minus Laguerta/Angel, I thought every reoccurring character improved too. Quinn's been strong, and I've never had a problem with Deb but thought her acting and storylines this year seem better.

I wonder how many hate posts are directed at Lumen...I haven't read the thread since she was introduced and I'm guessing it has to be around 200+. Lot of people hated Rita, lot of people hate Deb, and what a shocker, another female climbed the ranks of OOT's irrational hatred of women on TV.
12-08-2010 , 02:08 PM
1 in 6 is high. If you include and negatives about her in posts then easily 1 in 20, probably 1 in 10.

It's pretty simple, just don't be lame. OOTV hates all lame male characters too.

Wow haha almost didn't catch that.

Also I agree that this season hasn't been up to scratch at all. It feels much less tense that all the other seasons I can't recall that many times this series I've been on the edge of my seat like the others. I think it was someone else here who said theirs to much filler.

I have a theory that the nanny is Lyla's (from season 2) mother and ends up kidnapping Harrison. Just a guess though.
