I'm on board with the fact that i don't think Hank will die...

Are these Mexicans like "IN" the cartel? Or just out to revenge Tuco's death. Seems stupid that Gus can't just take them out while they are in America...

Watching the replay now. Did anyone else find it kinda strange that Walt would give up his cooking secrets so easily to his new assistant?

I understand he is sort of a kindred spirit being an educated chemist as well, but even as naive as Walt is about the business he must realize his only value to Gus is his formula.

This will **** up everything, walt may not want to cook
I also heard on the previews Hank say:

Spoiler:
something along the lines of I don't want to be a police officer (dea whatever) anymore...

this is completely believable... hes not a ruthless criminal... hes a chemistry teacher... he loves what he does... people love talking about what they do, especially if they are good at it

Well, I was under the impression they weren't really in deep with the cartel... when they had the "sit-down" with the mexican cartel leader and gus they really had nothing to do with either they just wanted to revenge their cousins death.

Hanks my favorite character!!
Im secretly hoping that walt/hank are going to find out about eachother then Hank starts becoming a mole for Walt in the DEA. With Hanks help, Walts knowledge and prowess soon outpowers Gus and his operation. Walt becomes the kingpin of the US meth industry.

Heard it here first

It's definitely believable, but i just found myself cringing with every word Walt spoke to the guy, thinking "how could you be so stupid!"

Also I'm still not sold on Gus being completely on Walt's side regarding the cartel and the cousins. He definitely has something up his sleeve here.

annoying/nitpicky, but the RV was registered to combo's mom, and she told Hank that it was stolen. Wouldn't he be able to break into it without a warrant to stop/catch whoever stole it? Or at the very least could have just called her and gotten permission. Either way i don't think all the domicile / 4th amendment **** would apply to Jessie.

Otherwise, sweet episode

Yeah, I didn't think of this specifically but I thought of Hank walking into the bar... Hank passing up Albuquerque for this, all the stress thats been going on, and I was like theres no way in hell he would leave this RV without getting in it.

Why was walt just standing there staring at the RV at the end of the episode. I would have thought he would have been hiding inside til a cab got there and then peace out asap. He has to assume hank is cruising back as soon as he realizes his wife isn't hurt. Even if the hospital is far what if her call came 10 mins after he left the scene rather than while he was at the hospital.

exquisite episode

soooo good.

Skylar being kept to a minimum may have had something to do with that.

Someone in a state of that mental duress will often see a light at the end of the tunnel and instantly become much calmer. Oftentimes it's a very serious sign that the person has made up their mind to commit suicide.

That being the case, now that Hank has found the RV he's got to think it's a matter of a few hours until everything goes down by the books and he bags his man. No need to fly off the handle with the end so close in sight.

btw, a question about season 1:
Spoiler:
When Walt was supposed to kill that crazy8 guy and was having a hard time convincing himself, he went upstairs to get keys to unlock him and just all of the sudden decided to take the plate out of the garbage and put it back together only to discover a missing piece. What prompted him to take the plate out of the garbage?, or did the writers just get really lazy?
lol? Read the thread, it's getting annoying how much praise the cinematography's been getting ever since season 1. RE: Crazy 8, it's been a while since I've seen it, but Walt is a smart guy overall and I thought it was believable.

I thought he had already made the link to Walt at the hospital. Hank called Walt about Jesse, and somehow Jesse is able to trick him by calling his cell? He'll realize Jesse is very unlikely to have his number, but Jesse has it.

Hank has to die.
04-26-2010 , 01:16 AM
Heres what I think is gonna happen. The twins are gonna come after hank and he's gonna be like wtf. finally, he's gonna snap and maybe lose his job or something and then walt will swoop in and be like "come here bro" and explain everything thats going on. "either you die or be cool with me" (maybe offer to take care of his wife financially if something does happen to him). then somehow he and walt are gonna kill the twins or something, and hank is going to be walt's muscle.

He was suspicious from the moment they busted "Heisenberg". Watch "Better Call Saul" again-- it's all over his face that he thinks something is fishy.

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't manage to connect this to Walter very soon. Considering his role in that episode as well as tonight's, he's got to put it together before long.

This will NEVER happen.

Hank is the one person in the entire show who has never wavered in his abhorrence of drugs and the criminal activity that surrounds it. If Hank discovers Walt's identity as Heisenberg and doesn't come after him with he's got, or die before he can get the word out, the show will lose what little believability it has that something like this could realistically happpen.

i get what you are saying and actually agree but i also think the twins could scare the bejesus out of him enough to have a major shift in character

Hank will have no opportunity to "be like wtf" if the twins come after him. Maybe for the two seconds that it registers he is about to get an axe to the face but no longer.

/theory.

who was the dead lady at the beginning of the ep?

My god, this show gets better and better every episode.

I think Hank is done.

It just continues to pull ahead from the pack as best show on TV with each episode. It's just flawless.
