Sorry cha, I shouldn't have quoted you with my response.

I'm so frustrated with these close losses. Unless they have a huge lead it feels inevitable that we're going to lose. It seems we have too many games where we just aren't focused, I didn't think this was one of those games btw. But we still had some silly turnovers in the first half and Love and Pek missed some absolute bunnies early on.

For sure. No lead feels safe and whenever the game gets tight it's a "here we go again" feeling.

Sure would be nice to have Burke on this team so Barea didn't have to play so much.

It'd be nice to have more than 3 above average players on the roster, too. *

* - not counting Hummel because of the small sample size.

Re-watched the game. Rubio was terrific.

He was great, but made a few poor decisions in wasting ~3 possessions with badly missing long 2s with lots of time left on the shot clock. Two of those wasted possessions were near the end of the game. Aside from when the shot clock is about to expire, he needs to take that shot out of his game.

Yeah, I don't understand I'm taking those mid-long 2's. Get to the hoop and make something or pull it back out. Complete eye-test, but I feel he could get a dribble or two closer on a lot of those shots.

Sounds like Bud is very close to coming back.

iirc, he shoots ~22% off the dribble on non-layups. He needs to stop taking those shots in games & work on that in the off-season.

It's nice to have him back, I feel instantly more comfortable. Another blowout, sure would like a close win.

Trade him while there's still a market for him (if there is one).

So we have the Suns tomorrow who are:

a) missing their ~best player (maybe 1b.)
b) on the back side of a b2b where
c) they lost to a Deng-less Chicago tonight

Really need to beat them as they're a prime candidate to leapfrog if we're gonna make the playoffs.

It's at a 'showcase' in Reno, I believe. All the teams play in Reno over the next few days.
