Excited for Jordan Anthony and hopefully singleton.

Man it really seems like Harbaugh really hates recruiting.

Gotta love seeing the top Wr coming to town.

Flip Harris one time!

http://gregghenson.com/michigans-top-recruiter-is/

"My sources in Ann Arbor told me tonight that Michigan QB recruit, Dylan McCaffrey is Michigan’s #1 recruiter.

I’m told McCaffrey is seen as a rock star QB by other recruits and that McCaffrey has hit the recruiting trail hard for Michigan, especially for the wide receivers and running backs.

McCaffrey is working hard behind the scenes, talking to the top athletes and encouraging them to join what could be a special class in Ann Arbor.

McCaffrey is doing the exact same thing Drew Henson did for the 1998 recruiting class when he actively recruited Justin Fargas, David Terrell and Marquise Walker.

Obviously a highly recruited QB is a must in any great recruiting class but when you have one that is highly respected it makes it that much easier to bring in top skill position talent, McCaffrey is doing great work for Michigan.

McCaffrey and DPJ are working hard on the nations #1 recruit, Najee Harris, sources at Michigan are very confident that the hard work will pay off for the Wolverines top recruiters….Dylan McCaffrey and Donovan People-Jones."

I don't know if Kirby Smart is just winning big on the typical "new coach bounce" but he was able to pull 2 great players out of Pennsylvania with the season Franklin is having while going 7-5 himself.

Can't imagine a recruiting loss that hurts more than this. Wilson is way more important than Harris.

Not that concerning. We are in on enough elite OL prospects.

Surprising tho

Wilson wasn't going to play day 1, he has a lot of potential but a project.

He's always said from what I've read that he wants to play in the SEC, guess that won out, still could potentially flip him.

yeah but if you want a day one ready LT Filiaga is your man, not Wilson

Wilson is a 5 star for what he could be, not what he is

It's a big loss but if both guys will be first round draft picks I will take Harris, Harbaugh will always have a decent OL and an elite RB can make a huge difference. Wilson would only be 1 guy out of 5 on the line. Would you rather have Orlando Pace or Adrian Peterson in college?

Need to get Filiaga, Ruiz, and try and grab Bekton.

Good thing with the elite offensive talent being brought in, they can get the clutch first downs through the air.

We need to flip Harris though.

Ruiz should be nearly a lock, Bekton, pretty sure the staff sees something in him, his overall ratings arent what they have been trying to get this cycle.

Lorenz did mention that this cycle he thought they were going to try to build a base, due to size, and go after home run/elite talent next cycle (2018).

Flipping Gay would be awesome.

Wiltfong just mention besides Ruiz/Anthony two others may move their decision up to commit as well, didn't say who.

btw does anyone know what's up with Newsome? Depending on what you read he's either on track to return or lucky to have a leg at all

What i thought as well.

Not sure about Newsome, it took him over a month (34-37 days?) to walk around with assistance from a walker so who knows.

PAGING DR IKES!

However it finishes up it will still be a very good OL class, even if it won't be the 5 star studded home run group we were thinking/hoping it might be a few weeks ago. There are also a couple of guys - Hudson and Paea - who are nominally DL recruits that would also have a high ceiling on offense.

Just getting the bodies is the most important thing, really need to restock in the trenches.
