so with Dansby in and Wilson out I think our 1st 2 rounds go something like this:
1st- Earl Thomas S
2nd- Terrence Cody NT

I wouldn't mind someone who ends up a really good OLB in round 1, with Cody in round 2, and a safety in round 3 or even Myron Rolle in the 4th round. (how could you not want a Rhodes scholar on your team?

I don't think Cody will be around in the 2nd, but I don't follow college football/the combine very closely.

What do you guys think about trading down to pick up value later?

Probably. If Crowder's cap number wasn't so high cutting him and picking Mclain (or signing Morrison) would be a great idea.

how good is Morrison?
What are his strengths/weaknesses? I dont watch many Raiders games, but someone has to make the tackles right? Wasn't Gibril Wilson their #2 tackler 2 years ago?

perhaps no need for a safety if we sign him.
Just OLB and NT then. Not totally sold on the need for WR in the 1st 2 rounds.
Would like a top notch TE if Gresham is one of those, perhaps get a NT in round 1 and trade up to the end of round 1 with our 2nd in exchange for our 3rd? Bad idea since we need a RB tho. Maybe we don't need a RB till next year, maybe Cobbs will be fine.

no, I don't think so. Parcells doesnt like giving up a lot for receivers, especially if they come with baggage. I wouldn't mind trading up tho

So f**king excited!!! Was so upset when Moss went to New England (is Oakland like the damn Pats minor league team?), and now it's OUR TIME, baby!

I'm kinda hoping we keep Ginn actually. I was all for trading him at first but with this move I think he can be much more of a threat stretching the field. Either way, put Hartline opposite Marshall and we're set for years!

K so I think Odrick can be Seymouresque and all, but we already got 3 solid young DEs in Starks, Merling, Langford. ILB is set, we need a safety which I think we can get great value in 3rd or 4th round (cmon Myron Rolle). We also need NT (Cody one time plz)
However we need OLB, we gonna get Merriman or something? OLBs generally have to be drafted highly to be really good, its one of those positions where you don't get steals late in the draft.

I think we had a solid draft. Only thing I wanted but didn't get was a big NT. Not sure how Starks is going to play out in that position. Odrick doesn't seem to fit a need at DE, but I guess he was too good a player to pass up. Koa Misi has a cool name and fits a big need. Jerry fits a need. Edds is a good player, but I'm not sure what role he'll play. Carroll and Jones look decent for 5th round. Carroll has potential and Jones fits a need. No single player I'm jumping for joy over, but I think we got 6 solid picks.

What's with the Jets giving away Leon for next to nothing? I was happy to see that trade.

Leon was coming off a major leg injury, and didn't fit in well with the system Rex wants. Plus, he still wanted 6mil a year, even after the injury. McKnight should fit in well to the role that Leon played, plus he's younger and cheaper.

Most fans aren't happy to see him go, but we understand it was bound to happen. We just hope that McKnight works out + Connor is a soild FB
