rafiki, how the hell can you tell that story and leave out it being a stat correction. A beautiful stat correction.

haha yeah the full version, as Rawrs points out, goes like this:

week 14, and I'm a big dog in this thing. Villain has P Manning and a very stacked team. Because of RG3's injury, I'm starting THE Josh McCown of your Chicago bears. First round of the playoffs. We're the 3-6 matchup I believe.

He lays an absolute whopping on me, and all I've got left I believe is McCown vs my Dallas Cowboys in the Monday nighter, and I'm down just over 45. Yahoo had me as something like 95% dog.

Well all McCown does is throw 4 TD's, run for another, and throw for 348 yards and no picks. Ridiculous. McCown gets 45.23 to give me the win....but wait. When the game is iced and my Cowboys have had their hearts ripped out, McCown takes a knee. In doing so he loses a yard, and I lose!

So it shows up as me eliminated on Tuesday. Then on glorious Thursday, it happens. They add a yard or two to Antonio Brown's late running play, and I ship. Lol I still bug him about it today. 45.22 from McCown. In your life will you ever see that again? If someone has a worse playoff beat, I'd love to hear it.

The way I see it, any time you can beat a Japanese person (at FF) on American soil, it's your sworn duty. Even if you're Canadian. We were your allies after all.

That's awesome. Although in your instance you both benefited and do not have to live with/hear about the "bad beat" for the foreseeable future.

Anyone willing to share their thoughts on this? I'm leaning towards taking Landry simply because he is a part of a better overall offense. I would also be burning a number 1 waiver, so curious if anyone thinks it's better to stand pat (Cecil Shorts was my starter this week in that slot).

Have any of you ever tried to move from 1st to 2nd to avoid a week 15 matchup with a really good team? It goes against all of my biological makeup and I've never done it. Was just curious if any of you ever have, and if you considered it to be smart strat. As is in my league, the #2 team has a cakewalk beating the winner of 4 vs 5. In first place I get the winner of 3 vs 6, the guy who had a great team and just got Gordon.

Lolol benching Jordy even with Revis. No one should have to talk you into benching TY. You're benching a top 3 fantasy WR this year. Good luck!

Believe me I tried.
Nobody offered me anything even halfway decent.
My QB (Ryan/Cam) and RB2 (Forte/Joique/Mathews) were my weakest links. Have Gronk at TE so cant really improve there. and the best offers I got were Lamar Miller for Jordy, or Russ Wilson for Jordy.
Decided the injury insurance + matchup options was worth more than the minimal upgrades at Qb or RB

None of the Luck, Peyton, or Brees owners would even entertain an offer. The Rodgers owners is the guy who also owns Russ and he wouldnt budge at all either.

So hold on, we actually recommend trying to move from 1st to 2nd if it helps us win it all?

Are most of you in agreement with that?

Agree with these two. It's not entirely the commish's fault. It's a stupid rule to begin with. Divisions are also stupid.

If picking one format or the over, I'd lean towards whichever one screws the commish over the most. I'd also scrap the divisions next year.

Who should I drop in my PPR league for TEN Def?

R.Randle (my 4th WR behind 3 good ones)

or

C.Clay (my 2nd TE behind D.Walker)

I'd drop Clay. 2 TEs is unnecessary. Not too high on Randle either, but Beckham could possibly be hurt but don't think so.
