I don't think you can ask ROS questions for the playoffs. That's kind of the point, you're down to 2-3 games, schedule matters.

And both their schedules are great, I'd have a hard time picking there.

Point taken, I'm just trying to trade one of them (DT) is my other receiver and am having a hard time deciding which one to keep.

why can't you keep both? don't you have other people to drop? can't you plug and play jeffrey or kelvin depending on matchup?

In eight 2p2 leagues this year, I'm looking like I'll make the playoffs in six. With an outside chance of a seventh.

In five YPL, I'm looking like I'll make the playoffs in one....maybe two.

I did 10 $100 YPL last year, and while there were some definite sub optimal drafting strategies, I didn't see anything extremely outlandish and most players were fairly competent during the season. My ROI was ~75%. This year, I'm doing 11 leagues, all of which are on 2+2. Basically, I'm curious if the increase in the average skill level of my opponents outweighs the 10% rake I paid last year. I'm not sure how conclusive a 21 league sample size is, but I think some ideas can be deduced. The main thing that I think may cause problems is the fact that my BI's are variable this year (everything from $500 down to $100) and I'm currently performing much better in my $500 and $250 BI's than my $100 BI's.

I wonder if draft days are consistent with average skill level. Like the people that join the YPLs almost immediately are the people who look forward to FFB, whereas the leagues that draft 2 days before kickoffs might be more populated with the fish?

FTR I did 3 YPLs last year, crushed them all in the regular season before finishing 4th in all 3. I'm still mad.

See I thought so too, so last year I didn't spazz YPL immediately and did 3 right before the season began (think basically 4/3/2 days before season began). These were surprising up there for the toughest drafts (but then again maybe I just ran bad).

got to also consider that if you draft earlier, you can extrapolate who's going to have a better preseason/get injured etc. if you do it before kickoff, all the cats are out of the bag already. think back to 2012, when would you rather have your draft - midway through preseason when you're ahead of the curve on the rustle hype train, or after preseason, when perceived more fish know about him and take them before you?

My YPL leagues this year are brutal. Definitely not composed of "fish" either. Some savvy bastards.

this was actually my first year playing FF and my work league is full of savvy ones too. really surprised. generally a week ahead of the WW and making the right plays. have to imagine i won't ever play in a league as "difficult"

have to win next week with a decent score to be in the playoffs. gonna be a great meltdown.

Titans D is awful, and not a fan of Steelers in those 2 matchups. Lions D should definitely be owned imo, and it might be argued should be played week 15 over those D's you have.

Agreed, O-Line is really bad, but Megatron has looked like he might possibly be going downhill. He's aging, and isn't beating the elite CB's like he use to (he still destroys average CB's). Could it just be variance with the injuries? Possibly, but could be that he's slightly declining.

Also re: stafford, 4th down and he does this

SO bad

The players in the pro leagues are pretty bad imo but the league set up sucks with only ten person leagues and no flex

Depth isn't very important at all

Even if they make some bad picks it's hard not to have a decent team who can beat a lot of teams on a given day

Need another Buffalo defensive TD really bad right now. Up 3 with them and fading Graham.

I play in 1 league with friends and i have 7 ypls. I'm in first in my friend league and been dominating most the season. In my ypls, i'll be making the playoffs in 3 for sure. 1, i might be able to make it if i win out. Another 1, i'll make it for sure if i win out(i actually started this one 0-4), and in the last one, i'm in 10th. I did all my drafts in the in that order surprisingly. i definitely expected the leagues i drafted later to be softer, but it's seeming to be different based on many of the posts

Is it unethical to not start your best lineup in a dynasty league where standings increase your chances of getting higher picks for next year's rookie draft? Not playing scrubs, but making a less than optimal start, like Sankey over Hill.

Yeah that's tanking and should not happen.

i much prefer to draft early as its much easier to find value plays. it seems that every year, the players i like early in the draft season move up dramatically by the season start. this year, think about kelvin, sanders, and cooks.

Of my 16 teams this year, this one if by far my favorite (12-team ppr, 1pt/10 ret. yds), lost Foles but have been streaming pretty effectively

I'm 1st in points by 100+, 6-6, and need to win this week to ensure playoffs

F*** FF sometimes

YPL's going a little better at least

Clinched 4, should make 5 (the 7-5 team is 1st in points by 75 ) and an outside chance at 6/8 in playoffs, 58-38 overall

Doubt you need to worry about winning this week...

Who are the best unowned handcuffs I should grab? Randle, Dunbar, Hyde, Helu, Turbin, Michael, Starks, Carey.....

I feel I need a miracle to make a real push in the playoffs. Any of these worth taking a flier on
