The point isn't that there are a lot of similar qbs...that I agree with. The point is that even though a lot are similar, there still aren't enough of those guys to go around, even in a 10 teamer.
Like someone was saying earlier once a couple of those guys get injured or are less productive than expected all the sudden Philip Rivers is equivalent in value to AP and those that were ahead of the curve and drafted QB heavy are ahead of the game.
Also in that hypothetical the fact that a team could get the top QB and top RB is offset by the fact that their qb2 would be Ryan Tannehill or something.
