Please make me proposals to improve the rather woeful starting pitching that I've inherited. Nobody is totally off limits in the right deal, although I may just decide to go with what I can get at auction and whichever of my young guys turn out to be good.

I'll give you Kendrick and Hughes for Choo.

or Dempster and Kendrick.

or Hughes and Michael Young.

pick 2 of the 4. lol. 1 pitcher and 1 bat tho.

yea that seems light for Choo even with the most optimistic projections for Wilson, but maybe i'm underrating him.

if levarkin would prefer i'd do any 2 of Ian Stewart$56/Gaby Sanchez$4/Yunel Escobar$18/Rafael Furcal$12/Daniel Bard$4

but otherwise i'll put that through on the auction software tomorrow morning.

Good news for Pecota ITT; looks like he did well. Not interested in those counter-offers though. I'm considering them fairly, in the spirit of the counter-offer period, but I'm much happier with what I've got.

I will trade a now healthy Nolan Reimold ($5) for a 3rd round draft pick (or best offer). He is OF eligible now and will likely gain 1B eligibility early in the season. .831 OPS, 15 HR in 358 AB in 2009 before he got injured in 2010.

I don't think I'm going to accept any counters so that deal can be put through.

put it through. i think muckface wins, but Pence is price about right, and Hughes has some upside left on an already friendly contract so i think it's close. weird timing with the salary dump by levarkin, curious to see where it's all gonna go. guess probably cant judge till FA is over. maybe just taking a page out of the Florida Marlins playbook, like Geoff last year.

I currently need a starting 3B. I can offer Brett Anderson (SP, $30) or a package of some sort.

If you're at all interested, make an offer quickly since I may spend money elsewhere and no longer be able to make a trade.

Late edit to the post above:

If I were to make a trade, I'd want to acquire an upgrade over Chase Headley, who is currently the only 3B on my roster. Thanks

I can take some salary dumps to free up roster space if anyone is interested (not Wainwright).

i.e. my Scott Pod and Matt Lindstrom (both of whom I am likely cutting asap) for your $100 guy. I'm looking for outfield and starting pitcher depth.
