So I deposited this check into a different bank account. I'll wait TWO weeks this time to see if it bounces.
RPM you are not winning my heart and mind over
FWIW, I've gotten checks from other sites, taken them to
the bank who issued the check and had them refuse to cash it until I got management involved. And that was pre-Black Friday. The current situation is sick. RPM has very little impact on whether checks bounce. It's more of a processor / bank issue, from what I understand.
Certegy is a fairly large company, if I'm not mistaken. They service a lot of big corporations. You might have better luck using a smaller, lesser known check cashing service.
