Ok everyone,
I have been playing for 4 years, starting 2005. I began playing nl .25/.50 (25 max buyin) and low stake sitngo's on party poker/empire and built the roll up to 3k, cashing out 1k and losing the rest experimenting with higher stakes.
In 2006, I blew up playing mid to high limit games on empire poker, getting 34% rakeback as a high volume player. I got 2nd in a $50 mtt (netting 4k), which helped me get my roll started. Overall that year, i netted around 60k from 3-4 months of play.
Towards the end of 2006, i pulled most of my money out of online, and decided to play high stakes live games. Although I regret doing that, I think it was lesson that I inevitably had to learn. I was outmatched in 50/100 horse games, and 30/60 holdem games. Those games played extremely high with 3 blinds sometimes and half kills all the time. I wasn't used to the flow of live games, and was crushed at first. I lost around 35-40k over a 3 month stretch. And as I put some money back online, I was also unable to win because I had lost the patience and flow of online. I was down to just 10k from my original 60k.
After that, in 2007, I continued to play in live games, having gotten a lot better. I started playing in lower 15/30 games being staked and some nl 1/3. 2/5, and 5/10. Having gained a lot more experience, I did very well and netted around 30k in 6 months.
Towards the end of 2007, the games began to die, especially the home games. The bad players went broke, and the good players felt it was better to stay away from other good players. Since, I live in the Chicago area, there really isn't a wide range of casinos to choose from. There's hollywood casino, which has only 8 tables, and some casinos in East Chicago, Indiana, which is a 2 hour commute (lately the horseshoe opened, and it has been very successful).
In 2008, I started to play on stars again, and did okay. I did try taking a shot here a little too often (at 100/200 and some nl25/50), which really hurt my winnings. The home games died down, and I played very sparingly at casinos, over weekends or when i could find time between my classes.
In 2009, I decided to take classes full time again. I had dropped out of Illinois State University in 2005 after only 1 semester (with a 3.77 gpa!). Over the last 3 years, I had taken 1 classes a semester at Harper College and getting 3.0 gpa, with my main focus on poker. This semester is close to being done. I have no more projects, and jsut 1 final left in accounting. I am majoring in finance, and minoring in journalism. I plan on transferring to Northern Illinois University in '10, which has a very good business program.
For now I don't have anything planned in the near future besides going back to school in fall. I tore a ligament playing basketball, so working may be out of the question. Operating a pc is not a problem, but continuous lifting is. I dont have too much savings, because of tuition and many bills. Here are the games that I have the most edge:
1. HU and shorthanded limit (including horse)
2. NL and PLO
3. SnGs
4. MTTs (I've always read the MTT strat forums, but just never had a lot of time for it)
5. Other games (triple draw, pineapple, star wars, etc)
I do read the strategy forums religiously, so i have a very good idea of how the regulars think and play, how good LAGs play, and especially how TAGs. And I don't think i'd need to worry about the donks. Also, I have observed a lot of the games on stars, and i have a good idea who the regulars are.

I wouldn't trust tableratings, because it can be 90% off. For example, my ap name on table ratings, it says the peak was at +1.5k, when the actual peak was at 6k. and the trough was at 600, when the actual trough was at 1.5k. And for stars, it missed an entire couple months of play.
Here is a graph of most of my 2008 mid-high stakes limit results:
Here's a meaningless sharkscope graph for ftp, i tried playing some low stakes sng's towards end of '08:
I dont have full version of a hud or tracker, but I think it's advantages are minimal for those that dont have a large database of hands saved. I may purchase one if I build a decent size roll (over 5k?).
PM me if you'd like to discuss more. I'm willing to give my phone #, email, address, and maybe a copy of my driver's license to confirm it.
I have a few famous 2p2ers as references. I met them online, and met in real life at Foxwoods, and we still talk from time to time.
Best wishes,
Mo
