OK, I made my 1st post yesterday which was a bit garbage cos I just wanted a game last night.
What I'm actually looking for a long term partnership with somebody who is willing to stake me for MTT's (mainly omaha hi/lo) on FTP.
I'm not after any quick fixes as I realise this is only my 2nd post on this site, but I'm well respected on other forums, mainly pokerspace, where I have received stakes in the past.

little background:
i started playing online, about a year ago, only freerolling, until i qualified online for LAPT nuevo vallarta, i got a free coaching at that time, from someone in the pokerchile community, as u might know this tourney was cancelled and i was funded about 5k on stars, at this stage my ego was sky high, i had not studied much poker, this abv, with bad bankroll managment and me cashing out most.
was = a disaster.
i still managed to play in LAPT viña del mar, qualifying online again.

how much volume can i make?:
depends on the type of SnG's and the goals.
i prefer non turno SnG's.
but saying that i can easily put up a few SnG's per day u must know iam curently not working and already finished studying.

how can u know i wont run away with ur money?:
well u just can't, must be based on trust, as almost all stakes are.
i live in south america but iam willing to give u as much personal info u need.

Looking for a stake into miniFTOPS #1 today. No Online experience but I have been playing live MTTs for about a year and half at Cantabury Country Club. I usually play between 50-175 dollar tournaments and dont know my ROI for sure but I know its slighty positive.

First of all, I fully expect to get at least 1 level or flame for this thread, in light of my recent flaming of FF and Durrrr... :P

I'm Syko_21 from Pokerstars, formerly of Ladbrokes.com (formerly of Pokerstars). I imagine I might be wasting my time with this post, since I haven't been a member of this forum for very long, but here goes...

I've been playing poker for about 4 years now. I'm tight-aggressive. Somewhere in between Rock and Bomb, but I am very good at changing my style depending on the blinds, my stack and my opponents. I used to play both cash and tourneys, but I had a very expensive learning experience in cash games a couple of years ago, during which I was dealt AA 9 times in 24 hours on $1/2 NL 10 seaters, got my chips in ahead each time, and lost 8 of them. The 9th one my bet was uncalled. Since then I have given up online cash games (barring the odd micro game for practice) and focused on low/micro SnGs and MTTs.

I'm from London, but I went traveling for 4 months last year after a big win that allowed me to quit my dead-end door-repeatedly-slammed-on-foot CAD monkey job and see some of the world. Yes, I probably should have used the bankroll to build an even bigger one first, but it was a great time to be buying GBP with the $ I won so i cashed in and ran with it. Plus, you can't really put a price on the experiences I had when traveling. No regrets!

Anyway eventually my funds ran low, and I found myself in India with enough money for one plane ticket. Back to credit-crisis Britain to sign on and try to find another rubbish job, or SE Asia where I can live on a shoestring and get paid good money to teach English. I went for the latter. However, recently I had some severe health problems which lost me my jobs (I was part-time freelance, no contract) and left me bed-ridden for the good part of 2 months. I'm on the mend now. In the meantime I got really low on money. Ladbrokes put me in the ULTIMATE doom seat for a long time, and I eventually uninstalled their software and put $40 on Pokerstars.

In the 6 weeks since then I have turned that $40 into roughly $600 on micro-stakes SnGs and MTTs. However, I have had to withdraw most of it in order to pay rent, bills and living expenses. Then a couple of days ago I got the doom seat. It coincided with me upping my average buy-in, so it hurt pretty bad. If you look me up (Syko_21) on sharkscope (All Games) you'll see why I want staking so I can continue playing.


Other notable achievements to date (not in chronological order):

- Taking 4th place and $5,500 in Ladbrokes.com "The Daddy" $60k GTD
($320 buy-in, but I was in there on a freeroll, winning my seat in the weekly MTT leaderboard freeroll. Worth mentioning that I was 2nd of the last 5 when I got disconnected for 10 minutes, and got back just in time to see myself all in on the BB with A2o, flop an A and lose to J8 via a runner runner straight. Also worth mentioning I have a much better internet connection these days!)

- Finishing 3rd of almost 1000 players in a Pokerstars $5 rebuy (no rebuy used) for a cool $1800 in 2006. (The eventual winner broke my KK with A3 suited when I was the chip leader 3 handed, and he had the decency to send me $200 to make my prize up to $2,000).

- Finishing in 2nd place in the monthly World League of Poker Online (WLOP Online, now no longer running due to lack of site-sponsorship) This involved turning $200 into just under $800 on only $1-$10 MTTs. over the space of the month. August or September 2008, I can't remember which. The archived results should be out there if you want to check this.

- Finishing 11th in Ladbrokes Monthly MTT Leaderboard in 2007 - I forget which month... it was when the Weekly Leaderboard Freeroll had a $6k Poker Cruise Package for the winner, and 9x $600 final satellite seats for the rest of the top 10.
(I was 5th after 3 weeks, then got the doom seat in the final week. This doom spell also included getting my AA broken by KK backdoor flush after flopping my set in 2nd place against the chip leader, in the last 15 in the weekly leaderboard freeroll - extreme odds on to have a 2x chip lead over the entire field, and to be guaranteed a $600 final seat, and favorite to win the $6k package... instead I went out with nothing to show for it)

- Countless MTT wins of $100-$600 on Ladbrokes over the last few years. Never a full-time player for more than a month or 2 at a time, but always a winning player when I have been. I have a ~20 page document with 3 screenshots per page of my notable poker wins since leaving the UK. If you PM me I can send you this somehow (I might have to compress it because it's a pretty large document now).

- I don't play much live, but I have played a few tournaments and cash games at Triangle Casino in Bristol and Gutshot in London over the years. Yet to get a big live tourney win, but have made a modest profit overall from live tourneys and a HUGE profit (percentage-wise) in live cash games.

Anyway Ladbrokes has now gone down the proverbial pan, and Pokerstars have a much better selection of SnGs and MTTS anyway, so I want to stick it out there for awhile. Currently I can't really afford to play buy-ins over $2.20, and the doom seat led me to go right back to basics on the 10c and 25c SnGs last night. I played 12 tournaments with an average buy-in of roughly 20c last night, and got returns of roughly $14. Basically I OWN the micro-stakes now, but they're not really the way forward if I want to actually build rather than just maintain my bankroll (after overheads of roughly $500-600 per month to live comfortably here, including rent etc). So I really want to take a shot at the $5 and $10 SnGs without having to panic if I hit a downswing.

Something in the region of $500-$1000 is what I'm looking for, with perhaps a modest make-up percentage (I shouldn't ever be in make-up for very long, the way I play) and a fair split on profits.

Im a winning SNG 9 man turbo player on stars, two weeks ago i busted my roll playing 366x $87 hyper turbos. Now im looking for someone to stake me in my regular game to save me some time.

If you have a sharkscope account it will be easy to use advance search to confirm that im a winner over a larger sample. If you dont have the advance search feature i will be happy to screenshot the data and show you.

I preffer if someone from sweden can stake me, since it will be a very easy thing to trust each other that way, since my identity and such can be confirmed by home phone, cellphone, etc. But if you want to stake me and are from another country that is fine for me.

I have 4 years experience, i have read books on SNG's and i have a cardrunners membership. My one misstake is that i played the hyper turbos, i should have sticked to my regular game. I have no history of going above my bankroll limit if you check sharkscope, i dont suddenly play very high limit SNG's, when i played the $87 hyper turbos i started with a $3.5k bankroll and i just underestimated the high variance of hypers. I play 4-9 tables at the same time depending on my bankroll, 4 for a more stable game and 8-9 games when i got around 75x buy ins. I play 50-120 games per day. Im a platinum star on pokerstars and i plan on keeping it, so if you stake me, ill put the volume in.

Oh almost forgot, i have success in MTT, my biggest cashing was $4.7k or something. But i dont play them any more since i preffer the stable income of SNG's.

My ROI is higher when i play 4 tables compared to my around 9% when i play 9 tables at the same time. I think its around 16% or so.
