I don't mind something like this so much with the dark lowers and white uppers, but I think with all the white in the counter top, i'd prefer dark uppers as well.

I like really traditional kitchens, so I can't get on the two-tone-cabinet train.

If I was going to build my dream it would have soapstone and look like it was a few hundred years old with all the modern conveniences cleverly hidden.

Not exactly right, because I hate the sink back splash and valences...but it is on vibe.

Natural stone. Big weighty pieces that read like furniture. That sense that it's going to be there, looking just as good, in 100 years from now.

Ever watch Fixer Upper? Contractor/husband guy is super annoying, but they keep a lot of character in their renos and don't just make everything sterile and white.
