Неа.
spew = деньги на ветер, буквально "блевать деньгами"
Обычно так обозначают блеф без шансов на успех.

Кстати- что стряслось с cgm.ru ? Уже сутки лежит. У кого-нибудь есть информация ?

Ye, stop drinking your whiskey and change to Russian Vodka!!!
10-23-2008 , 02:32 PM
lol I've personally done that. Though I drink cheap Russian Vodka, Smirnov.

... actually sounds appealing, been thinking about picking up a bottle. I don't drink much really.

.... I'm a pot smoker.

I've noticed something interesting, and would like to mention it.

Ever since I've been learning Russian, and when I study, I often misspell or forget how to spell English words. It's interesting.

Have any of you experienced something like that in learning English?

Edit: please kindy disregard any connection between this

".... I'm a pot smoker."

and this

"I often misspell or forget how to spell"

Ва-банк i think is correct translation of all-in, but russians like to say Олл ин or Алень

I'm a Russian major in college and an American. I definitely know what you're talking about with starting to mix up the Roman alphabet with the Cyrillic one when writing in English. Once I got used to working in both languages though and it stopped happening as much for me.
