leon, that was smart posting a pic with quad 4s with no kicker - if it were quad 4s with a kicker that'd have been too obvious.

Exactly. Had to photoshop out the kicker from the other pic (if you notice the last 4 cards in both pics are the 4s). Photoshop out all the individual kickers, photoshop in 100 random cards and voila!

Every time I hit something massive I take shots at 100 lines, 50c credits. Man, if something huge comes in on one of those shots...

Yep, I tell myself that every session. "Just gotta cycle enough hands. Not a question of if, but when".

I'm at 5 dealt royals lifetime as well, but only the last two were "big" in my estimation- the back to back ones for 40k at the Wynn, same machine, both in hearts, Dec 2020 and Jan 2021. Now that I'm routinely playing UX and/or 100-125$ coin in, I really could use one...

Leon - this is an amazing TR and so fun. I'm officially going to try video poker in Vegas in October. If you have a sec:

- Is there a site which you use as a resource to help you play with optimal strategy?

- Are there any particular machines you find most profitable? If so, what and where are they?

- Any particular advice for a noob? I've played extensive hold'em/omaha so I know the poker hands etc....just not too knowledgable on what to hold, going for jackpots, etc.

THANK YOU FOR THE POSTS and thanks in advance if you can lend a little help to those that want to jump in too.

These two Apps will help you learn. There's a practice mode, also, you can enter a dealt hand to get the "perfect play" based on your machine's payout. (Android only last I checked)

All vp noobs should shoot the moon on their first session. It's common knowledge that the casinos use your first session at any game as chum to get you to return. This is where you outsmart those greedy bastards!
