I was playing .25 denom so the 6s were only worth 250 credits (62.50).
I'm also Diamond, so that may have had something to do with it. Not sure if they'd do it for someone playing without a players card and no proven loyalty.
I while back in this thread, someone mentioned that if you mis-hold a card and draw, but would have made a 4OAK, that the casino can review the hand and pay you out.
Most of us, myself included, told him he was absolutely full of ****, and there is no way they would do this.
HE WAS RIGHT. I JUST DID IT IN VEGAS.
So I was playing VP at the bar in Ballys on Thanksgiving night and I got dealt two 6s. I hit both buttons and hit draw, but only one held. The button had been giving me problems all night and was glitchy. I even saw it say "HELD" but then it immediately clicked back off before my finger hit the draw button.
So I say out lout "****, that just cost me a four of a kind" thinking o'well my fault for playing too fast. The bartender immediately said to not hit spin again, and to hit the service button, and they can come review the last 10 hands and will pay me. So I do just that.
The slot attendant shows up and I explain to him what happened. He then radio's for a manager "basically a slot pit boss" and he shows up with a key. He logs into the machine and it shows that I was dealt two 6s on the top, and the drawn two 6s on the bottom, showing both run of hands. He then runs a test on all of the 5 "hold" buttons, and confirmed that 2 of them are glitchy.
He takes my players card and goes to the cage and in 5 minutes returns with my cash.
I told him that I was shocked they would do that, and couldn't even count how many times in the past 10 years that has happened to me and I didnt do anything. He told me that they will do it ONLY if they can review the hands (last 10 hands), and can confirm the buttons are sticky.
He said the situation where they WOULD NOT pay, is if someone is just playing too fast and FORGETS to hold something.
So there ya go. Again this happened at Ballys so I was assume they'd do it at all Caesars properties. I can't confirm MGM would do this.
That's great! Especially from a pair. Did one of the 6s come on the last card? Some places won't pay you in that case because in theory you would have only drawn 3 cards and not 4.
This particular policy sounds fair, but I wouldn't assume all CET properties follow the same policy though. Each property seems to have a little variance on how they do things. Also the slot managers' knowledge and tolerance significantly vary by casino. I know one slot manager I dealt with at Monte Carlo was a ****ing idiot when I tried to explain how a 25 hand Super Times Pay machine was malfunctioning. On that machine, a button labeled "bet one" was programmed to be another max bet button. Both he and the tech couldn't understand what was wrong with the machine.

Same happened to me at Rio bar machine playing 2s wild Ult x 25c 10 play. The 2nd time the sticky button failed me I held 22 & it threw one away. I immediately called slot attendant. They calculated what each of 10 screens would have paid w 22 held at each multiplier & paid me the difference immediately.

Now THAT'S amazing. You get about double of what the machine paid you? They must be using the newest software on that unit. It can calculate EV difference from optimal.

No, it was not that sophisticated at all. Let's say for example I bet 100 and was paid 200 after only one deuce was held. They then calculated each screen based on the 1st 3 cards out with 2 deuces times the multiplier to see what it should have paid. They added up all 10 screens let's say for example the total was 500 then subtracted the 200 I was paid and gave me the 300 unit difference. I did however lose any future multipliers because after that pay out they shut the machine down...

It's not super sophisticated no, but only the newer machines can do it automatically. And i would be shocked the casino would do it that way unless the machine calculated the answer for them first.
Hey guys I was doing some scouting last week during the holiday and I can confirm that the below machine is in the high roller area of Choctaw casino.
vvvvvvvv
The machine is located up against the wall by the black jack table and bar area. My understanding is that it is rare to have UX multi line machines higher than quarter outside of Vegas. $90 a spin. I’m going to start taking shots at it.
Wish me luck. I’ll come in here and report

If you're gonna win $432,000 on that on one pull, I rather just win Powerball. The odds of getting a dealt full house followed by a dealt royal is:
3744/2,598,960 x 4/2,598,960 = 1 in 451,027,850
But good luck if you try it!

$432,000 is the maximum theoretical payout on that unit. It took me a minute to figure that out too.
Hey guys , I’m sitting in WinStar Buffet right now. This really happened tonight.
After hitting that jackpot I was down to my last $300 including 1200 I can in with and 3k jackpot and this happened
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
It says there is three thousand on machine but I took pic while credits were rollin
It was wild. When the hand got dealt it just made a clinking noice and went right into jackpot mode and credit starting rolling. It didn’t even let me pick the hands.
