can just tell by the way he throws his chips in the pot he has a terrible attitude at the table.

I stop in and scan the thread every 3 or 4 days for anything interesting. I watch a number of vloggers routinely like neeme, Boski, Brad, monk, hello and the others every once in a while. I think there are some great vlogs being produced by this group and I like them all for different reasons.

I just never understood the overwhelming number of posts about Trooper. For the most part, the few times I have watched I thought his videos were worse than almost all others and I find him irritating. I call him the Trump of Vloggers.

But if doug offered to stake him for a few weeks on Live @ the Bike with full coaching and analysis I'm pretty sure he'd take that offer.
Trooper made it clear that he thinks he doesn't need coaching. One of the reasons Trooper was insulted is he seemed to think coaching was only for players that were fish. People tried to convince him that it wasn't true, but he ignored them.

He seems to enjoy talking poker less than any grinder I've ever met, and has repeatedly said that he really hates talking about hands. He seems like he would be a really frustrating student to coach.

Not sure how seriously I should take this, but there is someone that keeps making comments on his videos that keeps offering to stake him for the Main Event. I think it's funny because I thought Trooper was going to ignore the guy, and so far that's exactly what has happened.

Trooper is trying to turn things around. He seemed more positive than normal in this Vlog and now he is commenting on YT without cussing anyone out.

It didn't seem to matter with the results tho.

I am starting to think there was a lot of in-breeding around the Greenville SC area.

More often than not, Trooper's friends look a bit like him

And look at the timing of when he rejected the coaching. He had just gone broke. And a year later he was broke again. So even when he goes broke he doesn't want it.

I also don't see what Doug could offer that would make him change his mind. Will Doug help him beat 1-2? In his mind Trooper is already a crusher at 1-2. If Doug wants to offer him help on beating higher stakes, Trooper doesn't want to play higher.

The other vloggers don't have the drama in their vlogs that Trooper has. I watched a couple of other vlogs last night that I really liked, and they had such a positive attitude, but unless I wanted to comment on a hand I didn't have much to say. And if I respond to something in this thread, many of the comments to respond to are comments about Trooper.

Did Trooper talk about a single poker hand today? Seems like lately his vlog is a bunch of drama with very little poker, and the other vlogs are the opposite of that. I know he says that it's not a poker vlog. Looks like he is right. It's more of a drama vlog than a poker vlog.

Played with Brad and Andrew recently in the MB2/5 game. Have to give those guys props for being able to really bring a good group of people together for some great games. I try and start 2/5 at MB regularly on busy weekends and am lucky if 3-4 people get on the list.

In case you haven't noticed, news ratings are way up thanks to the Trooper of Politicians.

The green chips at Caesars threw me for a loop in this vlog. Apparently they are worth $2, not the $25 I thought they were. Trooper has never much liked Caesars. He doesn't generally fare too well there.

His videos have gotten progressively worse as time has gone on. Of all the hands to show in this vlog, he decides to show a SB vs BB hand where he has 76o(?) and it gets checked through on all streets... On a plus side for him, after booking that loss he didn't seem quite as tilted as he usually is.

To answer your question a little, he's basically the only VLogger that puts out daily content, and the only one who's basically on the brink of full life derailment. Like him or not, that does give his vlog an entertainment factor. Some want him to succeed, some can't wait for him to fail.

Caesar's has had those $2 chips for many years. You have never played there?

Caesar's has the best rake/comp structure on the strip (maybe in all of Vegas?). People are saying that game quality is pretty comparable to any other Vegas poker room. Every grinder should be playing there if 1/2 or 2/5 are your stakes.

Thanks for trying to ruin the games there, if they are good. lol

Caesars can be the nittiest room in Vegas at times. Definitely on the strip

If game quality is poor then it negates the advantage of the rake/comps.

That is my argument always when people talk about playing the lower rake games around town. I would rather play a $5 + $1 place with good action. The amount you get in pay offs way out weighs additional rake.

Trooper gave the most in depth hand recap ever. Check out his latest vlog. The hand break down starts 9:15.

What was the controversy in the Advantage Player Vee-log that he referenced someone telling him to take down a video? Does anyone know what he's talking about?

By far the nittiest. Only after diamond lounge closes at 9 is there a chance of action.
