FWIW although I hate to give your remark any validity, both Steve and ducks talk about at least one Vegas vloggers actual published content. Your post seem to be exclusively about what these other posters post about vlogs.

I suppose I can break down the difference in greater detail if you're still struggling with it after this post.
Pistol Noon is the guy who posts in the YT comments that he is here just for the comments. He doesn't watch the vlog. He only reads comments and follows this thread so he only reacts to us, not to actual Trooper. That's why he defends Trooper because he hasn't actually seen the stupid stuff Trooper does. He reads the comments and simply doesn't believe that anyone can be that stupid so he assumes we are lying in the comments and in this thread.

I'm sure he would have asked for permission first. He definitely should have politely asked.

Gus's book, Every Hand Revealed was pretty much the written version of what Neeme is doing in his vlogs. Hand analysis but it's tourney versus cash so it's Boski just years prior. I wonder if Boski read that book.

You got me to skim the video! Glad that Grouchy John's was in the beginning. Nice of him to check that place out. There's a bunch of nice coffee shops in Vegas that range from chill and indie like Grouchy John's to upscale and fancy.

I don't know if that's his thing, but Trooper might really like Boba Tea. They do coffee flavored and it's pretty much an ice drink with some delicious tapioca balls thrown in. I highly recommend it.

Yes, because we are cool and you are not. Seriously though, we talk about vloggers and you talk about us. Feel free to say what stuff you like about Trooper to balance out our criticism.

It's not that they have a negative opinion of him because they disagree with what he says or something. It's that they laugh at him. It really must be embarrassing to show his face.

I think that he has no shame posting things on YouTube because the feedback he can ignore or censor but he can't handle an actual person looking him in the eye and judging him, even non verbally. It proves that he has some shame, which is actually a good thing compared to his attitude in his videos.

I guess it's both.

Trooper gained 19 new subs yesterday which was one of his best days in a LONG TIME. He has 42 in the last 30 days so if you take away yesterday, he has only 23 new subs in the last 30 days. Must be a slow time for poker in Vegas

The almighty natamus

I think there is probably a mod position available in this sub forum now that gobbo no longer mods here and seeing as you are pretty much a self appointed moderator you should apply for the position.

Or maybe not because i think you would have to be unbiased to hold that position.

Do not post RK links or embeds in this thread.

They will get deleted.

So Roast King points out that many of the search engine tags that Trooper includes with all his videos include the word poker. Couples this with the fact that Trooper says his vlog isn't a poker vlog and this is supposed to be groundbreaking? I mean, I have plently to say on the shortcomings of Trooper, I doubt this one makes top 10 on the list.

He's a sad, angry person whomever he is. Or it's the worst attempt at a running Lewis Black bit about one niche topic/personality ever...

Not just poker, but poker vlogger. Although I don't think it's as significant as he makes it out to be either.

Perhaps he is going extra hard to get Trooper to mention him in a video? Trooper was dumb enough to do that before. I was surprised when Trooper was telling his audience not to watch his video, but that's exactly what people will be tempted to do when you say that.

Heaven forbid you be asked by a (I think) reasonable poster questions pertaining to your actual contributions to the thread.

The obvious and clear answer is you have no useful contributions to this thread and you don't seem intent on making any. Oh well.

LOL @ Dnegs tapping the glass in his latest vlog.

And as sad as Trooper's existence is, wasting all your time and energy harrassing him online is 1000x sadder. Trooper is at least living his own life. Roast King's whole life revolves around Trooper apparently.

I guess DNegs doesn't understand that without his PokerStars cheques he'd be grinding these $1500 and 3k tourneys like everyone else. I started out enjoying his vlogs, as they went on they got more and more unbearable. His fans are pretty diehard so he basically can do no wrong, but DNegs only cares about DNegs, no matter what act he tries to put on for his audience. Such a self serving tool.

There are some arguments being made about what should we jealous about the Trooper or what is the inspirational message.

Bottom line is Trooper has been generating multiple streams of income without having to work for the man the last 12 months. That is everyone's dream in a capitalist society. Although, Trooper has history of having to run back to the man.

However, it would be completely irresponsible and wreckless for me to quit my job with all my resposiblities (i.e. mortgage, etc) cuz I can't stand some biatch at work and I want to be like the Trooper. If you want to live by your own rules make sure you are very prepared so someone else doesn't have to pay for it (society, family, friends, mom and dad).

You don't have to watch the Trooper or constantly berate him if you find his lifestyle appalling. He not taking your tax money. Likewise, you don't have to follow TBC if you find his lifestyle disgusting. They are not taking your money.

Also I thought it was funny that the prestigious $50k players championship final table was just at a regular table, in the corner of the amazon room with a small crowd sitting/standing next to it. It had the atmosphere of a WSOP event from 15 years ago. Is the featured table only used for the main event?

I thought it was interesting to see some genuine negative emotion coming from Daniel in his last blog. 98% of the time, he is relentlessly on-brand in a way that is very positive for the promotion of the poker industry overall. But everyone has those sort of thoughts after a very frustrating bust-out. If Daniel was being truly self-serving, it seems like he would censor those thoughts from his blog, as they are not really in line with the image he usually tries to cultivate.

Also pretty impressive that he was able to come back that same night and currently has an average stack with 95% of the field gone in the $3k NLHE.

Someone who was assumably banned from 2+2 came into this thread last week under the screenname "GobboYoureDead" (or something to that affect) and made a handful of posts threatening him and seemed to have knowledge of where Gobbo would be on a certain day(no clue if Gobbo made his whereabouts public knowledge in a post or something). Unsure if there was anything more to it than that, but yeah, that about sums it up.

His rant was entirely POY point system motivated. I understand if you see that as genuine as I'm sure he was tilted. But his only reason for the rant was to ***** about his poor POY ranking compared to the low buyin min cashers that are out pointing him thus far.

I was mostly referring to someone saying he was "tapping on the glass", which I assume was referring to his criticism of some of the plays of his opponents in the 50k, as well as his assessment of overall field in the $3k.
