Sushi AYCE places I have on my list for my upcoming trip:

Goyemon
Sushi Neko or Sakana
Oyshi
Jjanga
Gorilla - I always have this ayce lunch on the departure date as it's close to the airport

Sushi Koma or Sushi Kaya any good? there's just such an abundance of AYCE sushi choices.

I'm probably going to hit 2 or 3 of them, Gorilla included. Need to fit in Shang Artisan Noodle for a Beef Noodle Soup. And then a Thai place. Anyone been to Taiwan Deli lately for a Noodle Soup?

Went to Shang’s today. Spicy wontons are perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Spicy Shang’s beef soup was excellent, chicken and mushroom rice was very good, and their dan dan noodles were also excellent. Place is just fantastic.

For AYCE sushi I would go to Neko/Sakana (they’re owned by same people) or It’s Sushi.

Breakfast - Drove 5 min south of Mandalay bad to the broken yolk. Didn't know this is somewhat of a chain but never heard of it. Ordered the 2 benedicts -- golden state and chicken & waffles. Both were excellent. Waitress asked if I wanted to added onions and cheese to my home fries and if I'd like to try the red salsa as well. Yes please.

Stopped at Shang Noodle just now but it's mad busy (8p tue). Audibled to Monta, which is a place I've wanted to try. Also want to try Mian. Any preferences from anyone?

This meal is at Monta Japanese Noodle House:
Gyoza app with spicy tonkotsu ramen with egg and corn added. Broth was rich af, felt like half was fat. Obviously unctuous and flavorful. I like adding corn for the texture. Ended up adding $2 extra noodles to finish the broth. I am super stuffed, and glad to try this place.

No wait whatsoever, while the place is small and probably can seat 25 total people in the small room, there were only 6 people. I sat at the empty bar. Service was great.

Why do all Asian places in vegas yell at you when you enter and leave?

Went back to Lucky Cat BBQ food truck tonight and their bbq is so far ahead of the rest of Vegas it’s not even close. All of their sides and sauces have been great too.

Tonight had the tacos which are a cheese crust cooked in beef tallow with choice of meat, got one order with brisket and one with pork belly to split with someone. Sides were Asian slaw and jasmine with panang curry (yes this was a side included as part of the price). Their curry is better than most Thai places.

They also gave us some ube whipped cheesecake and some street tacos that weren’t on the menu since we’ve been repeat customers. The people that run the truck are awesome and the BBQ is 10/10

Stole this pic from their IG of the tacos:

I’m a big fan of Broken Yolk for brunch, good choice.

Haven’t been to Monta in years, looks great though. I’ve been meaning to try Silver Lake Ramen that is relatively new, anyone tried?

Probably gonna have to find out about this Lucky Cat one of these days as well.

Mint has a place on Eastern I think. Would be my go-to Indian

The Japanese shops yell irasshaimase or “welcome to the shop” when you arrive. You don’t need to reply. When you leave they are probably saying arigatou gozaimasu or similar. Anyway you can just head nod or say thank you as leaving.

Has anyone been to Miznon at the Venetian? It looks good. We're going to Bouchon and then the sphere, but might want a bite on the way back before dinner.

Great job punkass, which sounds like I am being sarcastic just based on the sentence, but I assure you I am not.

Randall, I have not, but I fully support you taking the plunge for the proverbial us, if not just for me personally. Godspeed you sweet, wonderful man.

I think our lineup is LPM at Cosmo, Guy Savoy, Edo, and Best Friend. Trying to fill in breakfast/lunches. I might do a TR, but it will be mainly food based.

No full tr of my lunch at gorilla sushi today. I've monopolized this thread as it is, I've done one for gorilla before, and it's the usual stuff. But it's good. Just one pic of usual nigiri that I got a bunch of

Edit: this place is especially crazy with greetings. All 12 people yell every time someone walks in. Yikes guys

It's good imo. Get the cauliflower. Everything I've had is good but that's the most memorable/different thing.

Lamb dish also really good. Chicken dish was good too but it's lighter and not as tasty. More something for a diet.
