how do you know they are breakeven players?

1) ptr is not accurate
2) 400NL is probably not a lot of their regular level

not sure about current CR vids but when CTS townsend, caby made videos i don't think they were breaking even at 400NL. maybe 1K nl someone of them could be breaking even.

I do know ptr is not accurate but if a guy have played +200 000 hands at that limit whit not so good results that do say something.

the old cr videos is awesome but the game change.

Hi i am new to the forum and i have recently started playing Multi Table SNG Turbo (45) on Stars. I am new to this format although i am a one table SNG specialist. I can see that the pushing/calling ranges deviate from that of the STT due to the rapidly increasing blinds. Can anybody recommend me any poker coaching site with some good videos on MTT (turbos). Also i would appreciate if you could advice me on some books or articles regarding MTT (turbos) Thanks in advanced.

Deuces Cracked has some good videos from AMT and Bones, Drag the BAr has a good 45 man video from this guy named Rakes, both of those sites have free trials. Andy Ward has a good MTT series on DTB also. As for books Im reading Poker Tournrmrnt Formula 1 which deals w/ fast online tourneys. You need to also read Kill Everyone. HOH is ok but more for big field and live stuff imo.

Hello guys,

i like to play the 8 game on stars but i often get lost in situations during the less populair games.

Are there any coaching site's that offer video's for those kind of games?
I would appreciate any advice.

DeucesCracked and Cardrunners have decent 8 game content. Alot of the time videos will be exclusive to one of the 8 game variants, but there is deffo some 8 game vids on DC.

I am taking a free trial there as we speak and noticed that this coach does a lot of micro stakes videos for them. I did not see him listed under the coaches tabs and was wondering who he is and/or his results via PTR, etc..
I really like how DTB posts backgrounds on their coaches as well as their results. I looked up the name hectorjelly on FTP and PS on PTR and both had only a handfull of hands played for little or no profit.

He's an ex Pokerswat coach from Ireland. DragTheBar acquired the entire Pokerswat library and all his videos. I don't think he makes videos for DragTheBar.

Hectorjelly was a Poker Swat coach and his videos were bought as part of Drag the Bar's acquisition of Poker Swat.

He plays mainly on sites that are not tracked by PTR. I have received coaching from him and would certainly recommended him for any micro and SSNL player.

Do any sites offer Badugi training videos? If so, how many and what would you recommend as the best?

I noticed the same thing on a few of the coaches I have looked up. They were losers on the main sites like FT and PS in MTTs, but they were coaching MTT strategy. I just figured they either had recent success or their profits were from other sites.

The really successful, well known online players are mostly on the sites with the huge initiation fees. Like most anything, expect to get what you pay for.

Hey, as RS said I was a coach for Pokerswat, when they were bought by Drag the Bar DTB were quite rude to me so I didn't continue working for them, I've actually asked for the videos to be removed since I was never paid in full for them, but to no avail. I must shoot them a nasty email!

I always keep my screen name secret, It's such a hassle playing under a recognised screen name.

I'm sorry you felt someone at DragTheBar was rude to you, but after reviewing all of DTB's email correspondences with you, I do not see any rudeness in the email logs. But when you contacted us about being a coach, we had just hired more coaches and did not have room on our roster for another coach, and since we were 2 months old at the time, our membership level did not warrant another coach.

Furthermore, we don't hire coaches that will not out their screen name, period.

Are you serious? What you wrote above has no basis in reality, first of all, I never contacted you about becoming a coach, & secondly I've already gotten an apology from Korey for the first instance of rudeness.

When the takeover happened I got a (generic) email asking was I interested in continuing to make videos. I replied that I was. I then got no answer and forgot all about it. It was only when someone asked me a question about a video they had seen (by me) on drag the bar did I remember about it.

I then emailed DTB again, asking for the videos to be removed. (Since I hadn't been fully paid for the videos) Korey replied, firstly apologising, and then in a follow up asked me to provide some information, I clarified that I wasn't interested in becoming a coach any more, just in having the videos removed. Yet again, he never replied to that, which is pretty rude in my estimation.

Are you sure you are looking at the right emails? Also, I'm amazed you want to discuss this in public.

I did a quick search for you and the question has been asked before. The response was that not many, if any, sites cover the 45 mans specifically.

I'm sure you can find a coach in the coach listings forum who could help, but that could be quite a bit more expensive than joining a site obv.
