WSOP National Championship is not open to everyone, only qualifiers and the top 100 ranked WSOP players can buy in.

Also, I think it is fair to wonder if Vanessa Rousso chose to dump Chad Brown despite his terminal cancer diagnosis. We do not know the reason for their break up. But, she is a public figure and trades on her celebrity. One might choose to avoid that which she endorses if they find out her character is poor. Does the speculation answer the question? No. But it isn't unfair to wonder aloud if she chooses to keep it quiet.

Yeah gutito said it. WSOP NC isn't open for everyone.

My bad. Not sure why I forgot that.

haha, certainly a possibility.

A no-warning DQ is certainly harsh, but....

I applaud a cardroom for taking a stand on behavior it will not tolerate. If Commerce wants to be populated by dealer abusing *******s, that's their right. I fear Commerce becoming a model for what's acceptable, which would not be good for the game.

It's also hard for me to have sympathy for someone who's supposed to be a professional blaming the dealer for the cards that come off the deck. I expect that from superstitious jackasses at Commerce, not from a pro.

You guys mentioned that the Rangers have a tendency to choke once and while. Well remember 94 when they came so close to choking in the finals but didn't. Who did they beat again?

Thanks for the new coach he seems to be working out for us.

I'll never understand the theory that because your team beat us once that we can't point out that your team occasionally chokes.

I mean I'm pretty sure you're just joking, but it's a pervasive theme that I see when people talk sports.

100% messing with you guys. As a Rangers fan, the go to move is to bring up 94 when people start talking bad about the team. Which happens all the time living in NJ.

'94 was such an amazing series. I went to the games in Vancouver and can vividly remember so many moments. The Bure penalty shot, Leetch just dominating etc.

I am pretty jealous that you were at the games, it was a great series. Brings back some great memories.

You worked for the NBA for 6 years? What did you do for them?

I haven't looked carefully at the Twitter convo or the NVG thread, but do we know for sure that it was a no-warning DQ? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Eriquezzo had had a few flare-ups earlier in this tournament, or in past tourneys, and this particular 1-2 combination of KEM-thrashing and dealer-berating was the last straw.

I'm recalling the whole Lesley Thornburg fracas at the WSOPC a while back. When I first heard the story, I remember thinking on the surface that it was a pretty brutal punishment. Of course, when more info got out, we found out (LDO) that Thornburg had received several warnings and penalties before his ultimate ban-hammer.

I'm one of the few who prefer FR PLO MTT. Players often get bored, loose their patience then make huge mistakes.
