Of course you enjoy a +EV spot (I'm not saying Ladies' ability is worse, of course). And I played and cashed in this event fwiw, which isn't saying much, hehe...

I guess it's kinda like affirmative action. Some people are for it some people are against it. I understand the arguments for it, but personally I'm against it and yes people are gonna argue back and forth and it's the internet and whatever.

But if I get $$, university seat, job... whatever due to affirmative action, I'm not gonna complain about it.

And I find the media aren't doing a good job either, here's from Pokernews:
"Will this year's "we're in the money" shriek be louder than last's?" - I saw some ridiculous things on the Main Event broadcast too when they got into the money
"Lovely Ladies. Always fun to shoot this event" - Aw come on, can't I enjoy pics of men?
"The first break of the day has been extended to 30 minutes. We assume it's in preparation for the huge bathroom lines that are sure to form." - 1st breaks in 1k events were just 20 minutes.
I can't find it but there was a quote about open tourneys being stench filled affairs, while the Ladies' is always great to cover. WTF!?!?

Finally fiinished this one in time for the next one...cool.

I so wanna go to the party....stuck in Perth Aus but.

Being a bad player is not alot of fun to be honest. i should probably spend some time learning this damn game and actually grinding some games out. rather than just donking it all off with AQos in the BB when the sb min raises me.

Enjoy and have a samuel adams for me....

At first I was like "oooh boy" when I started to hear Jennifer Tilly, but you know what, after like 20 minutes I didn't want it to end and I LOVE "Let it Ride" which I saw with my dad when i was like 8 or 9 and was immediately fascinated by the gambling world...

Oh, and please please please please see if you can get Joy Miller on a podcast while you're down there (may not want to tell her you're buddies with TC though).
My thoughts as well, She did at great job with the interview. You can tell she is very down to earth, sweet and becoming a better player. She is very passionate about the game and I hope she becomes a regular here.

Loved the interview with JT.

Don;t post much in this forum, but thought it was worth a mention just for that.

Just finished listening to Jennifer Tilley and thought she did a GREAT job. She was so likeable and seems to really have good perspective.

Download this, Poker road/Poker beat and Poker Edge.

Is head and shoulders above IMO and you don't murder it with adverts every 5 minutes **Cough** Poker Road **Cough**.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for listening. Yeah, we try to make the 'sponsored/promotional' part of the program informative and of interest. PokerStars has been very good that way.

Or Craig Ferguson.

I enjoyed this show. Adam was much better than that idiot from Harrah's IMO

Great show...Jen rules. Warm, engaging, entertaining, insightful and delightful. Too good for a degen pursuit such us poker imo.

Jen is intelligent and driven, which is perfect for poker.

She's a great interview and had control.

I didn't know Jen Tilly used to be married to Sam Simon until Adam mentioned it in the Episode 124. I looked her up, and it turns out she was born Jennifer Chan, and her father is Chinese-American.

Wow, I couldn't even tell she was part Chinese. Anyone else shocked by this?

I couldn't possibly know that, 'cause when I google her I only use the "find pictures-option"!

Not only that, but apparently he convinced her to play the razz event at the WSOP this year. Even Jennifer Tilly plays razz now! I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen...

Fantastic interview with Jen Tilly.

She came across witty, fun and intelligent. And that voice is just soooooo cute

Favorite female poker player for sure, and like someone else said earlier - both Her and Laak are people you just want to be your friend. Superb stuff.

It did make my ears prick up after she mentioned Phil tidying the apartment furiously after finishing his marathon session, as this is a known phenomenon of certain (illegal) chemical usage to stay awake!!! Just kidding, of course - I'm sure it was all above board.

Please please please have her back on before too long though.

As for the Aria guy. He seemed a bit uber-slimy for my tastes. Sounded like he would say anything people would want to hear, and came across like a million salesmen IMO. But thats only off a short interview so could be completely wrong.

Now you just have to get Jen and Phil on together. They have definitely been the 2 most entertaining interviews this year.
