I just have to say that calling the list 5 months old is misleading. While technically true, up until a month ago it was the working list to go off of. I had some other names I had brought up, but I think calling the list old is somewhat funny. Maybe some names have been cleared, but also many were recently proven to be fake. I am eager to see what wicked chops comes up with.

I was wondering if Phil Laak will be in the next few shows to talk about his whole experience of his Guiness Record?

BTW, great show guys continue the good work !

Great show as always. It will be pretty hollow (right word?) when you guys go back to normal 1 ep/wk.

Never understood the Laak/Tilly thing. Guess thats what I get for making assumptions, loved her interview. They are made for each other. Jen was so much more talkative and open than I expected. She seems like a very fun person to hang out with.

SCHWEINSTEIGER!
Sorry I missed the change of plan for the World Cup pool, but still love your avatar (even though he is far from my most favorite German player). Guess I'll look for World Cup themed avatar too. Let me see...

Jennifer Tilly is really cool. Who woulda thunk it.

Great interview with Jennifer, she came off as super endearing and down to earth. Loving the twice a week podcasts as well!

Just checked out the Big Game hand and, I don't know, I think DN is out of line here. I've seen way worse slowrolls in person than what happened here and it looks like just an excuse to "beat on the brat". I'm no Hellmuth fan, not by a longshot, but more and more when you see PH and DN on a televised show together DN is going out if his way to snipe at PH and, to me, it's just as bad as the crap Hellmuth pulls. I'd hope that Daniel would high road it more often than he does...but I guess he thinks, and maybe some people find that it's entertaining.

Quick note on something Tilly referenced. Poker has been legal in Canada for many, many years. Not sure why she said that.

Love the extra WSOP episodes. Hope you guys can keep up sending us extra content to get through the week!

I hope Jennifer reads these posts and doesn't ignore them, she was fantastic. Knows her stuff, was articulate and not up herself.
She should be on every week doing a "Tilly minute" or a strategy segment.

Searching through my old videos for "Let It Ride" (shhh downloading it now). It was one of my favorite movies. Can't wait to watch it again.

Anyone who doesn't heart Jen Tilly after that interview needs their head examined.

Oh, and please please please please see if you can get Joy Miller on a podcast while you're down there (may not want to tell her you're buddies with TC though).

Had to register to thank you too.

LOL. 21 posts on your first day. Seems you may have gotten a bit hooked.

Oh goodie... Joy Miller.

The girl saying "please don't be angry at Shaun Deeb, he just lost a prop bet" on the big stage, because she could. But then COMPLETELY ignoring the other men and missing the opportunity to clarify the stance on women's only events. Oh the joy of double standards.

I can say almost every woman I've talked to that plays poker on a serious level or has an understanding of the poker industry hate women's event, while a good portion of men like them and defend them vehemently (see Annie Duke and Daniel Negreanu get into a fight again). This time, I'm on Annie's side 100% and Daniel's comments on the women's event being "special" and 100 billion$ men's event hit a nerve.

THis is the part I can't comprehend. If every woman that understands the game on a serious level hates the event then why were there 1056 players in it. Also, if you don't like the event but others do, why can't they just enjoy it and those women who don't enjoy it just choose to not play in it. To each their own and all that stuff.

Say what you want about them as people but I think Maria Ho, Liv Boeree, Tiffany Michelle, Linda Johnson, Kathy Liebert, Vanessa Selbst, Vanessa Rousso, Linda Johnson, Lisa Hamilton, Nicole Peppe, Evelyn Ng, Mimi Tran...I could go on and on all are serious about and understand the game and they all played. I don't believe they were forced to.
