He got off to a decent start but doing 18 tables or less it took him more hours to rack up that many hands compared with his 24-tabling abilities now.
His 2nd week he was really struggling to get it going again and spent a couple of those days playing 9-12 tables I think when he was already kind of doubting this whole thing I believe.
TBH, and i dont know exactly how he feels about 24 tabling, but if he had just kept up the volume even 18 tabling the second week he might actually have been ok. But when your behind pace you cant take days off and you also cant cut down hand amounts. Also if he continued the kind of volume he was putting in earlier this week he would of most likely made the pace for this week.

Bottom line
you cant take days off
dont step away from your normal game
dont get downtrodden fight to the last hand
this post proves to me that you will win your bet doug. i should bet my whole nano stakes roll on it.

omg seruisly keli no joke how many do u think u could play competently- 35-40?
No way..max I could prob do is 30 and that would definitely be super hard...I'd probably play between 26 and 28 depending on how stuck I was...the more stuck the more tables obviously.
SNG's and other tourneys do not count towards your table count.
You can play 24 cash-games and another 55 SNG's or whatever if you want.
I've occasionally played 1 or 2 tournaments along with my 24 cash tables..
fwiw i play 6max but i could never ever play more than 10 tables. not more than 14 of fr prolly. how do you guys not get some seious seizures or something?
It could be that he noticed he was playing sub optimally die to tiredness, etc and decided to take a day off to rest and clear his head so that he can finish out next week playing a little better. Yes, this makes winning the bet practically impossible. But it could help him make a couple of k more over the remaining days thus increasing the amount of money he will have made over the month.
It's important to bear in mind that he has won enough to cover the amount of the bet by this point. So he isn't going to lose money. As such, one could argue that once it becomes unwinnable in his opinion it is in his interest to just do whatever he feels will give him the chance to win the most money before the end of the period.

nonetheless im impressed.
I think the better question is how do you only play 10 tables? Don't you get bored during all the downtime? What do you do, post on 2+2 while playing?
No...but I've played a bit of it, and as he said 10 tables of 6 max is the equivalent of like 14 fr...so my point still stands, how do you only play 14 tables of fr? Don't you get bored?
