Because I escrowed another bet with someone through u, where I bet 500 to win 1000 if Costanza had won (hedging my bets). You owe this other person 1500 (the 1000 he bet plus my 500) and you owe me 5000 (the 3000 I bet to win 2000). I forgot this guys name but its in this huge thread somewhere.
