If you want to cut off communication with her, don't respond. Every time you respond to her, gives her a glimmer of hope that you will warm up to her. It does both parties a disservice.

I'm that guy who hates to lose touch with certain ex's. I've sent countless texts, emails, voicemails through the years of similar nature with what your ex sent you. Less than a month ago I finally got the closure I needed with my ex Elise, and I'm sure she's relieved that I now feel no need to ever communicate with her again. Took me four years, but I've finally moved on.

If your ex is as whipped or in love as I was... its doubtful that your response is going to be ideal for the results that you want. If you want her to go away and never talk to you again, I'd suggest you give her what ever closure she needs, reinforce that you two will never be back together again in any aspect including friendship, and just ignore her completely.

That is some good advice.

It's a little heartbreaking in practice, though. And I'm an *******, I can't imagine how it would be for normal people.

I would challenge you for the division accuracy and multiplication ones if we knew each other IRL

Yeah, I was a bit confused by this, as well.

Yeah, I think we're definitely on separate pages now. Hope the weekend does go well.

I hear ya, man, but I was curious as to why she would text me when I gave her all indicators that I didn't want to maintain any kind of contact. So, I guess my curiosity got the better of me. *chuckle*

My response to her this time around was, "ahh, ok," and that was it. I've given her no indicators that I have any interest in maintaining anything with her. I'm not even interested in ex-sex with her which I suppose isn't that big of a deal but is a first for me.

I'm surely not the best at any one of these; but taken together as a combo #1, no doubt :P

That's a sick combination if you are at all proficient in each of them

It's an old game on the Mac that schoolkids that grew up in the 90s played at school. It's supposed to be educational, but the best parts are when party members got dysentery (or typhoid or malaria or etc.) and died ("You have died of dysentery" is a reference to the game also), and the hunting.

You really have to play to understand. Here's a very good flash version:

I was just being a smart ass. You clearly didn't cut off all communication when you didn't change your number (as i have had to do in the past) and you responded to her text.

Well, thankfully she's not crazy so I don't think I'll have to change my number.

pt - like I said, curiosity got the better of me. My curiosity is definitely that I have difficulty controlling sometimes.

yes and no, yes cause he'd be permabanned and no because the conception that someone would snap create a gimmick to ask for a permaban just to screw with him is really funny

I'm going to create a "Merry XXXmas" thread in BBV sometime in December. Any thoughts besides music and sluts?
